Weird CD/CD-RW problems
I've recently been trying to transfer some files on CD-RW discs (various file types) and I've been getting the error message " [File name] cannot be read from specified device". Does any one know why I should be getting that and anything I can do to fix it?

try using it on another computer. assuming it's not the computer itself, the CD disc may be scratched or otherwise damaged in a way that's keeping it from reading properly.

Thanks. I don't need to worry about that, just getting the drive working.darthdavid wrote:Hypothetacally, there may or may not be copies of windoze floating around the net. And since j00 own a copy already i believe that it would be legal to dl it. Damn. To use it j00'd need to burn it. And to burn it j00'd need it. Catch 22 i geuss.
