40 Megs worth, doesn't seem like a lot but it was all images, so there were about 2-300. And I normally keep it in the Recycling Bin (I'm sure your thinking I accidentaly deated it there, but no). It was in My Pictures, and I was moving the folder back to the Recycling Bin, and got a message "This folder cannot be deleted or moved because it is currently being used by another program." I thought that was weird and then clicked on it to open it back up, and it wiped every file and subfolder in it. The main folder was still there, but its empty now.

YOU didn't delete all your pr0n, Windows did.

BTW I have at least 6 gigs of porn on here, and I've never felt any need to hide it at all (we're all guys here, we all look at it ).

Some have to hide their porn cause A: they live at home with their parents and B: there could be children around.

File-saver is a very user friendly file recovery program. Depending on how long it's been you might be able to get most of it back, but jpegs become useless with only a little bit of data loss.

The only thing better than old porn is new porn. Half the fun is hunting for and finding it in the first place. As long as you have a high speed connection and access to a decent news server, you won't miss the old stuff at all.

Unless you happen to be an obsessive collector with some impossible to find series, but if that was the case you'd have multiple redundant backups.
