My Dawn of the Dead dream..

Post by Trytostaydead »

It was freakin' cool. Don't worry, no spoilers or anything here. But it's my own revision of DOTD; Zombies + Mall.

Anyways, a small group of people, including me, were stuck in a mall with zombies outside. I forget what really happens in the beginning, but one of my companions lets in the zombies (Romero style, but slightly faster) and I run up the escalators only to find that some of the group have holed up behind a gate that had an elevator that led,.. somewhere. I somehow convinced the madman to let me in. Evidently he went crazy and thought that the only refuge should be safety with him in this small area. As the zombies massed at the gate, I being very pissed off, opened the gate and quickly ran and pressed the elevator call button and got in in the nick of time.

The dream ends with me deciding whether or not to stay in the elevator and slowly starve to death, or suffer the few minutes of being eaten alive..

Boy, I'm disturbed.

Fool, couldn't you have escaped from the elevator and made your escape? Stuck in an elevator. *shakes head* Still, at least you didn't wake up screaming as a horde of zombies began eating you alive. Yes, I had that dream (or something similar to it). And you think you're disturbed? Pfft.

i'm surprised you were able to "run".

Whenever I have bad dreams of something chasing me I feel like I'm walking or running thru quicksand, or my feet are really really heavy

I heard that in some cases, people die in real life when they die in their dreams...

Really? Because I had a dream where an alien ripped my throat out. Then I woke up none the worse for wear (though I was paralysed).

It's pretty much an urban legend, but there may be a case when your fear in a dream would cause your heart level to escalate so fast as to give you a heart attack when you don't even know it.

At least that's my theory.
