Other than Weltall, and Fenrir (Citan's Omnigear), And Xenogears itself.

XG is the king of badass mecha games, very rarely have mecha beating the shit out of each other produced such satisfying clanks and squealing metal.

And it's got the best first half of any PSX RPG. (pity the second half just falls apart horribly)

It had a staff.. it's exchanged that for blades on it's forearms (you can see them in the pic I posted)

Of course, it could always teleport to pointblank range, put it in statis lock, and just tear it apart that way

I get what you're saying in regard to the head, however, everything else is pretty different. If anything I'd have to say that the PowerDolls are the unwanted stepchildren of the Pathfinder, seeing as how the designs for it date back to roughly 1992 IIRC. The earliest copyright date I found on the page you linked me was 1999.

The PowerDolls series been around since the early early 90s. Problem is there hardly any websites for PD and most of those are dedicated to just the pilots.

Jovian Chronicles started off as Mekton Zeta, then became it's own product under Dream Pod 9. Early 90's can mean several things, show me a copyright date prior to 1992, or suffer. :p

The single word that strikes fear in the hearts of all Mecha. "Bolo" as in Bolo Mk XXXIV, SRB-59182 Strombringer as in what the fuck do you mean it's "Light arment" ONLY does 6 megatons a second!?!.

There is one case of a reactor being linked to a weapon. The CEGA Typhon's Hecatonchires, it's linked to a 20MW reactor, just for it. Anyway I'll always prefer more down-to-earth mechs over stuff like Jehuty (though Jehuty and Anubis look SO cool). Though my fav would be the CVNA Ryu Bonebreaker (it has a shotgun!).

Heavy Gears look awesome as well. But I prefer Exos

How much stress would be placed on a Veritech Fighter that is zooming around in an atmopshere and suddenly transforms?
I'm thinking a lot, and they do seem to do it regularly. So those things should be fucking tough.

True, Bolo's are badass. And they would win against 90-99% of mechs. But stuff like GunBuster or GettaRobo would rape armies of Bolos. "All Mecha" is a broad term.

Valkyries are constructed of Hyper Carbons using materials technology gleaned from the ASS-1 (later SDF-1). There would be a limit to how fast it could travel when transforming since it there's still a pilot.
