Nah, I'd probably just get depressed when realising all those one-track-mind jokes were actually accurate...

It's because of the visuals. Too many thought bubbles would crowd the panel.
Oh wait, you're talking about the real world. Nevermind me.

First of all, women are way more twisted than that movie leads on. Believe me. I am a woman, I know these things.

And as to your question, abso-fucking-lutely not. I don't understand men now; I sure as hell don't want to know their explanation. To me, it's like some of those dreaded questions about the ex, or if you suspect your SO is cheating on you. The curiosity kills you, but man, you realize that you'd live better not knowing. :)

According to the commercials I've seen for the movie, reading women's minds makes one act stupid and slightly effeminate. So I'll pass.

No, that was the non-psychic version of him at the beginning.

Don't ask.

We don't pay attention to what women say, why should we care what they think?

That was a joke. Please don't hurt me.

I thought it was pretty decent. It could have been a little better, plus it looks like Mel needs to lay of the drinking and smoking. He looks smoked anymore and that makes it more difficult to believe that women would so easilly find him attractive, especially if his character is known for being a womanizing jerk.

The ability to read womens' minds would be very convenient, but it would be nice if you could turn it on and off at will, instead of having the microphone stuck on high volume, as the movie seemed to imply.

It would be useful, but just a few "This guy's such an ass" when you're talking to a hot and interesting girl would make you one melancholy son of a bitch.

It'd be useful during sex ... unless she's thinking about someone else. Fuck that shit. Actually- forget it, I don't want that kind of power.

You have just been issue one demerit point in the 'evil powerhungry dictator' training program for that statement.

And yes I would like to have that kind of power.

She'd be so overcome with joy that it'll make her sexlife 10 times better and she'll want to have non-stop sex with me 24 hours a day. :D

As long as it came with a translation. I have a hard time figuring out what women talk about when they say it out loud, I don't see how it would be any easier if I could hear their toughts, hell it would probably be harder.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

But as far as board culture in general, I do think that young male overaggression is a contributing factor to the general atmosphere of hostility. It's not SOS and the Mess throwing hand grenades all over the forum- Red
