Pathetic. Why take the test in the first place?

For some reason I find this more sad than funny~ He's taking a seat that some well-meaning, serious student could fill
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

Er, sorry to be the one to say this....but that's fucking college level questions?

Most of that would be standard grade over here, with the very mild possibility of it bordering on higher....both of which are below what you'd get at college or uni.....

For a beginning chem class, yeah, that's about what you'd get. One of the real problems with the American school system is its inconsistancy - some students can answer those blindfolded before they've even had the class, while some are not quite sure what these "element" thingies are.

Of course, "Level Two" could denote either a higher or lower than average difficulty, which is another example of inconsistancy...

You mean those answers were not right!!!...

Rant
It is people like that that make it so I have to take my Organic I lab while I'm taking Organic II during the summer and take my Organic II lab while I'll be taking Physcal Chemistry I (for majors, aka 'rape me in the ass' P-Chem), Introduction to Biochemistry (for majors), and Biology I w/ lab during the fall. Of course they are also the asses that make it so now the core biology requirement before doing higher level biology classes at my college has been split from a 2 semester to a 4 semester program.
End Rant

Anyway, all pending, that could be an exam for a basics of basics Chemistry 101 class, but yeah, all in all pretty sad stuff. People like them should be removed from the gene pool.

Reminds me of a chemistry test I took last week. I didn't know half of the answers and only barely passed because of lucky guesses. That one kind of makes me feel good about it.

Reminds me of some of the horror stories I hear about my dad's college hijinks.. though that story involved him blowing up the chemistry professor a little bit.

Having studied two semesters of chemistry (before I got my sense back), I just laugh at that exam.

I'm in the middle of a high school chemistry class, and I could answer most of that stuff correctly.
