You hear squeaking echoing down the sewer tunnel ahead, quickly followed by the patter of many tiny feet.

The lions tear down the corridor, quickly followed by the elemental. The dire rat is removed from the replicator in an instant and torn to shreds. Your replicator scurries back to you. [Do I really have to post the numbers on that?

Fearghal shook his head, he disdained of such reckless wasting of power....clearly the mark of the insecure. "A touch of overkill..."

He remained wary though, a magic missile at the ready to protect himself...

He called to his companions waiting to enter, before turning his attention to the doorway, drawing back Thunder before letting him lower to enter at an increased pace, the blade raised high as the sunlight beamed against his back

A swarm of rats hurls itself on the lead lion, but is set upon and many of them are killed. The remaining rats squeal in terror and flee down the tunnels, some vanishing into the darkness ahead while others scatter into holes in the walls.

Ok, I order the lions to keep mopping up.....

I open my Bag of Holding and order 10 replicators to hop out, I dischange my ioun stone and enchant all of them with Light.

I then order them to run around and try and locate any hostiles we havn't seen yet.

Nothing further comes out of the darkness of the sewers. Only the drip of stagnant water greets your ears as you move beneath the tower. The only noticeable thing is a slight increase in the stench.

In the tower hall, an interior door slams to the left as the gate falls in. There are four doors, two to either side of the entrance hall, and a staircase going up at the end. The second door to the left was the one that closed as you came in. There is no movement or sign of opposition in the hallway.

Outside the tower, nothing more shows itself to Gaheris and Torma who circle above. The tension is almost palpable...

Gaheris swung low, banking over the battlements on the tower's peak and coming up and over to survey the gate. Nothing... Where could they be? Perhaps the tower wasn't home to a vampire after all, but he wasn't about to operate on that assumption just yet. He pulled up and continued his patrol.

I shout for the replicators and summons to run in all directions, for the summons to attack and kill everything they find, and for the replicators to report back to me.

Nervious I cast Haste and on my move action burn some charges on the third ioun stone to cast Daylight on the area around me.

On my second move action, I let the queen replicator out of the bag and order it to make 14 warrior replicators and then have the queen go back into the bag.

The sound of tiny claws scratching over stone suddenly echoes from the far end of the corridor, and you see a massive black haired rat scamper across the floor, running with all speed towards a small opening in the wall. Suddenly, the room itself flips upside down, and spikes blast out from the walls, ceiling and floor with a horrid groan, but they all miss you and the replicators. Then all hangs quiet.

Ok, I cast detect traps and use Persistant Spell to make it last 24 hours.

I have the queen replicator move into the bag, and tell all the remaining replicators and warrior replicators to cover me and my ally as I move.

I then, with the mace up and ready to strike, and with a swarm of repilcators and a few light spells turning pitch black into day, advance down the hall.

The hall is utterly quiet, and you do not detect any traps. You spot a well concealed trapdoor in the 'ceiling', but you cannot reach it by hand. It looks extremely rusty and is covered with old cobwebs.

Malkamar, not wanting to see the cleric waste yet more power, simply hovered up to the door and gave it a sturdy yank with one hand. Sometimes the simple means are the best.

The trapdoor opens easily, without the telltale groan and screech of old hinges. It seems this door has been used recently. Inside it, you see a large shaft leading straight 'up' as far as you can see.

I get out a lenght of rope and each replicator grabs a bit, working together, they should easly be able to pull me up the shaft.

As you ascend into the shaft, gravity shifts back into it's normal direction, and you are now going down.
