I think this pretty much seals it - 60% of Ayn Rand fans are either morons, pompous assholes, or people who have no fucking clue what they're talking about.

I've known lots of people who work for the government in some capacity or other, and quite frankly, I can't imagine anyone who doesn't know any government employees. As I see it, there are three possibilities:

He has a ridiculously small social circle (like, himself and his copy of "Atlas Shrugged")
He knows government employees but treats them like shit, which means he's anti-social
He knows government employees and pretend to be nice to them while accusing them of being Nazis on his webpage, which means he's two-faced.

Quebek sucks. I live in Maine, and we have to put up with these twits to. I keep hoping they finally become a seperat nation from Canada, once they are no more goverment funds from that end. They'll beg for 'finacial Aid' from the U.S. and won't get it.

Whats funny is that the French out numbered the Germans in every way in WWII. Their airforce was bigger, more modern, the army was bigger, had more tanks, yet their troops dropped their guns and walked to the other side!

It wasn't really that bad. The Germans just threatened to bomb their four-star and above restarurants and they gave up immediately.

The German Airforce was more modern and considerably larger.
Actually the whole french military equipment (except for the navy) was outdated. And so was their laugable 'invincible wall of ignorance'.

Yep, like the Curtiss H-75/P-36 for example, the french mainstay fighter plane at 1940.
With 313 mph absolute max speed and max ceiling at 32 700 ft, armed with 2 30. or 50. MGs.

The Bf 109 E, the most common variant at that time, had 446 mph absolute max speed, absolute max ceiling at 37500 feet, armament was 2 MG-17 7.92 mm machineguns and 2 MG FF 20 mm machinecanons.

So yes the french had the superior equipment

What is so unusual? That your little Biblical God is nothing but a puffed up Voice from the desert, and you can't fathom someone believing a human might be greater than this little voice? I'd certainly rate Mike over the Christian God.. At least Mike can explain his position logically, and his claims about the progression of the universe are far better(For example, they don't require the Eygptians to be older than Reality itself.).

But as to making Mike a Small God... Hrm.

Question: Does it ever trouble you that you have no ability to percieve anything outside of your narrow little frame of mind? I'm sure that even a sociological abnormality such as yourself can figure out that she meant not that anyone sees Mike as an omnipotent googly-man, but rather as an *extremely* honoured and revered individual.
