I actually prefer Coke, though I prefer most other Pepsi PRODUCTS to Coke products (ie. Dr. Pepper over Mr. Pibb, etc.).

Pepsi is sweeter than Coke, because it has more sugar. The people in the tests do not generally have time to be affected by the aftertaste of the Pepsi, and thus make their decision based solely on the sweetness of the two beverages.

Dr. Pepper and 7-up are no longer Pepsi products... actually, they never were, they were only bottled by them, but they have recently both been bought by Cadbury.

Pepsi actually has more ingredients than Coke. Some of them don't sound too good.

Vanilla Coke tastes great on ice, otherwise it tastes like someone dropped a giant stick of butter in your coke.

Pepsi tastes like it's going to burn a hole in your mouth. It's just too fucking acidic for me.
I personally drink Diet Coke, most of the time. I only drink Coke Classic occasionally, because that's not what we usually buy.
And I enjoy an occasional Cherry or Vanilla Coke, regular or Diet.

It's the phosphoric acid, I think. Coke doesn't have it, Coke only have carbonic acid.
I've tried drinking Diet Coke. I can't hold it down.

Funny, the can of Coke in my hand has phosphoric acid listed as one of the ingredients. Seeing that I already have a "banned" 'Dew, could it be that I have yet another "pre-ban" can of Coke in my house? Hmmmm...I wonder how much I could sell this one for?

I like the aftertaste of pepsi but I do not like the aftertaste of coke. Doesn't really matter though as I don't drink either of them that much.

Coke has a more syrupy aftertaste than Pepsi. Wait...phlegmy is more like it. For me, anyway.

Pepsi one has aspartame (nutrasweet) and some new chemical sugar-like molecule. If you see aspartame in the ingredients, thats nutrasweet.
I can't drink diet anything, because I can't stand the taste of aspartame. Last time I drank one, I didn't notice it was diet, and almost spat the stuff on my desk. I find it tastes like liquid plastic.

Diet almost everything is off the list for me as well, I have a horrific reaction to aspartame. Muscle cramps, fatigue, nausea, and something very like a schizophrenic episode if I have to much of it.....its very rare and strange, the doctors just told me to stay the hell away from it, period.

People with certain medical conditions (like diabetes or multiple sclerosis) shouldn't drink the stuff, others are allergic to it.
Its supposidly breaks down into formic acid and formaldehyde. The amounts are small but I see no reason to drink the stuff (especially since it tastes bad).

Of course she did, she had to keep testing till enough people got it wrong that they could skew the study in Pepsi's favor
