Am I right in saying that the Dwarves originate from around Georgia. Need to know for my backstory. This is going to be interesting. If half the characters manage to go for the first week without butcherint each other I'll be impressed.

It won't help that my species thinks that Human Flesh is a delicacy, even though he does curb that tendancy...

I think perhaps the GM should have set a player cap (like the first eight players to submit a character or suchlike).

Usually I find that teams of 5 work best. I still think that splitting into two groups as I mentioned would work well--if not being hell on the GM...

Either way, their will be a group that won't have anyone to really heal them except for Paladin One shot per day healing...

My character's going to become a cleric at 2nd level with the Healing and Good domains (a miracle-worker/faith-healer type, as opposed to a member of the actual clergy), so just don't get your asses killed until then and she'll be able to help you. ;)

I think access to the necromanyc school might be bad if you're a christian char. I also hope my character survives for a while... I have plans for him......

Well, we've got a few rogues and such in the group, so Use Magic Device coupled with scrolls of cure light wounds or whatever should help the healing angle.

While I'm at it, though, I think I should make one more correction to Galen's language list. Hailing from Transylvania as he does, he ought to have the following, methinks:

Languages: English, Latin, Orc (as before), Austrian/Germanic (?), Romanian.

That better? Now all I'm going to need is a way to get that clock subweapon....;)

I just realized...a Druid and a Necromancer are certainly not going to get along, plus the necromancer is a human..It's like Oil and Fire. Do Not Mix.

Yeah, but it would be in-character. If I was able to transcribe thse scrolls it would validate my characters hypothesis....

Oh of course it wouldnt be easy... Damn hard actually... Developing a spell would be a DC of 20+spell level And requires considerable resources... Though for this... I have something to work with, but I will have circumstances working against me... For one, i am traveling... Little library access, then there is the matter of getting divine scrolls to transcribe... I will have to decipher the scrolls in the first place... And the mobs of angry peasants
