Note on Hank's Heroes home base:
Hank McKenna's home base is a fortified nest, with gun turrets, heavy weapons, anti-teleportation, anti-magic, and anti-telepathy fields surrounding the building its very design makes it almost impenetrable. The computer system, as well, is completley internal, with no outside accsess except from a small network which has no hook-up to the more classified systems, though dummy systems are included in the "open-system" to make hackers think they have succeded in hacking the PRID's most prestigous unit. The money needed for the upkeep, and upgrading the building is seen as quite justifiable by the PRID to make sure that their most valuable elimination team is kept safe. The Heroes keep the bases defenses manned, rarely leave the base except for missions, and are overly paranoid about any undesireables making their way near to the "nest" leading to some embarassing incidents with terrified pizza delivery men. This system, however, usually suits the heroes just fine, as they view themselves as a big brotherhood, among whom Loyalty to each other, Hank, the Base, and the PRID is the single most important matter of all.

Hidekazu has a long and dark history, leading over two decades from a murder in his home city of Choshi to the countless hellholes of the earth, from the high mountains of the Hindu Kush to the deep jungles of Columbia, Indonesia and Thailand and the waters of the Rhine, filled with blazing oil after his passage. In 2008 the death of his father, and the inheritance of some 200 million USD, did little to return him to the folds of normal society. He remains a black sheep to those members of his family who remember him, and for his own mind violence is no longer a means of survival, it is simply an occupation. Rarely does the nature of a task concern him. As many missions require additional assistance, Hidekazu keeps several persons of similar employment close at hand, though never more then ten, except for special missions which the additional personal do not survive. He is currently available for hire.

You are talking about the guy who just, for the hell of it, offed 9 PRID people and a few days ago a whole small town. That's why he'll try... once he knows of it.

For what? No one knows about the towns destruction yet, maybe in a day or two, on top of that you'll never be able to connect him to it really. And you won't be able to connect the 9 PRID deaths to him either as he's gonna ditch the truck some time and destroy it.

Yes

And I did admire a van Gogh, but that was already put away into a safe place, as I wrote

Might want to come in the house?

Sweet.
Prof. Justin Bailey
Age: ~30 (legal age 67)
Bio:
A professor of archaeology, Bailey specializes in Atlantis. In 1973, at the age of 25, he stumbled upon an ancient Antarctic ruin with technology far beyond that of modern Earth. Unfortunately, an avalanche killed off the entire expedition, with the exceptions of Bailey and a man named Gunpei Yokoi. After the avalanche, Bailey and Yokoi opened a room guarded by a spectre who could attack the body and the mind. After determining that the men were no threat, the spectre vanished, revealing a suit of armor with an energy cannon built in. Yokoi returned to Japan shortly after, while Bailey chose to study the ruins and the armor. Over a decade later he returned to the United States, without having aged at all. When questioned about his whereabouts for the past decade, he simply answered, "Around."
However, his radical theses about the nature of Atlantis were met with ridicule and Bailey was forced into teaching European history to high school sophomores. Recently, because the descriptions of the apparitions match the spectre in the Antarctic ruins, Bailey believes that the Atlanteans have returned.
As an archaelogist studying Atlantis, Bailey considers the apparitions to be the archaeological find of the millenium and opposes PRID for its hostile policy toward them.
Skills:
- Advanced Armor +6
The armor found in the Antarctic ruins provides the ability to hover in the air indefinitely, free movement in water, enhanced strength, and employs a shield system to repulse attacks. The Arm Cannon fires a concussive energy burst, and can also fire stronger blasts to punch through armor.
- Master Hacker +3
After returning from the ruins, Bailey's IQ skyrocketed, allowing him the ability to decipher puzzles effortlessly. In addition, the armor itself has a sophisticated hacking system.
- Energy Absorb +3
The suit is capable of harnessing energy via the shield system, although doing so will damage the suit.
- Finite Energy (for armor) -1
The armor piercing burst has a limited energy reserve, and the shield system corrodes with each impact. If the suit's energy reserve is depleted, the suit will become little more effective that medieval plate mail.
- Independant -1
Despite attempts to the contrary, Bailey's suited alter-ego refuses to take sides, although he will assist the apparitions when necessary.
- Stealth +1
The suit, despite its bulk and weight, is silent, and features a rudimentary cloaking system to scramble everything but the eyes.
