I help Tsaroth with the stuff and horses, and then prepare to enter the lodge.

Ok, after a few trips everything except the cart has been transported to just outside the lodge. (What do you do with spark and ember?)

--

The man that the entrance nods.
"Please, come in. The horses will be tended too momentarily."

The cats can be carried under arm... and caged

"Thank you so much for your hospitality."

"No trouble at all."

*your shown to an apprant entry room, there are pillows scattered on the floor and a table in the center, you are apprantly meant to sit*

A young human (male) wearing identical clothes walks in, the old elf whispers a few words in his ear and he runs off.

"Food and drink will be brought momentarily, it must have been awhile since you had a hot meal, the mountain isn't exactly forgiving to the unwary. Please sit."

If Tasoth tries to take the cats I resist, and keep them in the cart with myself. I also send Quoth to him when he's flying saying, "They could be Fael!"

Ok, the cats stay in the cat, Tas might have argued, but he's too cold and just wants in.

You can reverse-reply to Quoth comment if you want, but don't break causality.

Right, while this is happening I prepare the cart for battle, lift the armour, lower the sideplating, and try to be more aware of what is happening.

Johan takes a seat in the corner of the room where he has a full view and nothing but wall behind his back. He sits cross-legged on a pillow and stays alert.

"Well, no sense in refusing hospitality when your only other choice is freezing on a mountainside," he remarks.

"Thank you so much." I say as I sit down. "The mountain is especially unforgiving if you dont expect to be on the montain in the first place"

I sit down besides Tsaroth, and keep an weary eye out for anything special.

Bringing my pony up behind me, I greet the man at the door. "Do you mind if I bring in my pony. He's been out in the cold during the last snow storm." If he says the pony can come in, I bring him in and sit him near the door, and sit next to the centre table. If not I wait just outside the door with the pony.

Within a few moments, the human returns, tea and a loaf of bred is placed on the table, then he hurries out.

"I am curiours, what maner of creature are you that you are able to fly without wings?"

by Alyrium Denryle
"oh, please forgive me if I startled you. I am a spell-caster, and I have spells that allow me to fly for short periods. Or tow someting else along with me"

"Spells? Caster? I have not heard to such things."

"YOu never heard of magic, and users of magic? Curious..."

"Magic we have heard of, there are many creatures in this world that posess such craft, but a mortal weilding magic is unheard of."

*He drinks some tea*

"Of course, we are somewhat isolated here."

"You've never seen a mortal mage? Haven't you ever travelled off this mountain? Surely atleast one travelling mage must have passed by here? Speaking of that, just how did you get to end up here anyway. Its a bit, remote isn't it?"

"What is a "mage"? As for the other questions, there is almost nothing on this mountain worth having, so few arrive here. As for why we would pick such a remote location, it is because we don't feel like being bothered."

*sips tea*

"Only a few come here, and most of them came here looking for us."

Keenan looks a bit bothered. "Why do they come looking especially for you?"

"Seeking somthing. Spiritual enlightenment, treasure, power, in fact just yesterday a small group came here hopeing to study our library."

"Well suffice to say that mortal magic users do exist. Some such as myself learn how to use it through intense study, we are called wizards. Others, such as Keenan, know how to se magic through in-born talent. They are called sorcerers. Collectively, we are called mages. we arent especially common, and many pople go without ever meeting one of us. But to never have heard of one.. Is a bit odd.

How large is your study?"

"That small group didn't, by chance, consist of Kobolds?"
