Missouri (52-48, 23% reporting) and Arkansas (52-47, 16% reporting) were just called for Bush. Seems a tad premature for that small a spread...

The popular vote is also tightening up a bit; it's now 52-48 for Bush, with 33% of precincts reporting.

Side note: NPR has called Montana for Bush, but CNN and Fox News haven't.

Wow. New Hampshire with about 50% reporting is just about in a dead heat in number of votes.

Either they just haven't got to the heavily Republican precincts yet, or Kerry is going to win Pennsylvania.

You all shouldn't get all upity on these state by state numbers. Chances are that the red states will stay red and blue blue with the exception of the so called battle ground states.

When they start calling off FL and Ohio and such then pay attension to the numbers.

Yeesh.

A few of them yes, but the Reps seem to take the majority 48 seats with 12 to close to call, they would have to lose just about all of them to lose the Senate.

So Bush has Florida, and Kerry has Pennsylvania. Once again, it all comes down to Ohio.

Wait a minute. No votes counted at all? And they called it?

Damn, I almost want Murphy to whack them, but with California that'd be just too much.

Bush is currently leading Ohio 52-48 (120,000 votes) with 53% reporting.

In early results, Kerry is holding Iowa and Minnesota, while Bush is ahead in Wisconsin and Michigan. If Bush picks up both, it'll allow him to win even if Kerry takes Florida or Ohio (but not both).

CTV in Canada just said that Kerry has 188 electoral votes to Bush's 193, but the map they showed only had 133 Kerry votes. :?
