Actually we might just yet. Tycho, that staff of fire is, unless I'm greatly deceived, 10,000 gp above your gold limit all by itself.

As I said to Rogue on AIM, I do not have my DMG, and I cannot find the level-based gold limit in the 3.5 SRD. So your wacking me with rubber penises is unwarranted.

But tycho, one thing I cant toss you a bone for, is your choice of prohibited schools. You need one more prohibited school if you want Necromancy and Illusion as your prohibited schools

Well, Wild Mage gives additional spells known and spells per day as with a sorcerer, and a sorc gets /no/ bonuses as he levels, other than that, so there's really no reason to stay a pure sorcerer.

Wait, what? He only has to choose two prohibited schools (unless he's a diviner, then he only has to bar one). Specialization was reworked in 3.5.
