Whoever it was, thanks for making me the Leader of the Marching Band!

So...what does that meat tree do, anyway? And how many points per turn do we get out of the strength and moxie trainers? I'm out of adventures for the day (but tomorrow the Boss Bat is mine!)

If we keep more than 50k of meat in the stash, then every turn, every player in our clan will get 500 meat. :)

How does one use the trade chat? I know how to use the chat, but what's the format? Do you just pimp your products in the chat? Isn't that what the mall is for?

Do people REALLY pay 10k for a chefs hat? MADNESS.

SCRawl: Can you explain to us how trading works? Obviously, you are doing something right if you are selling chef hats for such a high price. I know how to use the fleamarket but the trade chat is different right?

Hehe. Stark and I think alike. :)

People will pay for anything, even for meat stacks that cost only 100 meat to make.

Edit: We may want to consider having different members focus on one item, Like one person go after chef hats, one person go after flat noodles, one person go after rat appendixes and stuff, in addition to our normal adventuring.

Yah I've got piles of worthless low-level shit: if SCrawl can share his ph34rsome tradezor skillz, I can personally generate almost 100k meat. I could give my useless shit to him if he wants, but I figure it'll be faster if we sell our own shiznat.

Also, I think we need a clan meet to decide on communication. We've got the clan board, which I think should be restricted to clanwide annoucements or requests ONLY. There's 'kmail', so we can PM each other directly (far more useful for coordinating than spamming the clan board), and we've got here for broad strategy and SCrawl worship. We need SDN-KoL protocols! :D

And thanks for the Robo Hobo title, it makes me feel special.

This site appears to be a good source of KOL info.
Coldfront wrote:You also get meat daily (1% of what is in the clan coffer up to 500), and 3 extra adventures a day, provided the clan has a meat tree (which, by the way, cannot be clicked or "used" - it gives you the meat automatically... no one can click on it) and a calendar, both of which are furniture you can help your clan get by donating meat.

NOIR EDIT - if anyone doesn't know, there's a 'stock ticker' sorta thing, showing prices things are selling for and how much up/down that is from yesterday, at ... erm...

Stock Ticker

Does that work? My BBCode is weak.

You did it right Stark.

Be sure to click on full item list though. Does that to refer to mall prices, fleamarket prices, or trade chat prices?

I'm pretty sure it's the moderated areas, ie flea and mall. The prices are very similar to what I see at the flea market.

You can click on items inthe ticker to get a history plot for that item. What I wouldn't give for some capital... time to donate, methinks.

BTW does everyone have a shiny ring? Those rule.

Big. Rock. How hard is it to find out how to get a big rock.

Additionally, the prices appear to fluctuate wildly, even during one day. I'm looking at Icy-hot katana, and on the 31st they sold for 3500, then dropped to 500, then went back up to 2k. Just today they could be bought for 50 before they went up to 1000. Speculation looks pretty damn profitable.

Rims are in the Stash, enjoy!

As for the titles, I've given them out and I hope you enjoy them. If you don't like the title, just tell me and I'll change it. That being said I also hold that we should use this board for communication, and I would also like to announce the Lord of the Spam's five year plan, which is as follows:
1. Make enough money for the Clan to buy a tanning bench.
2. Thereafter raise our clan coffers to 50,000 meat. A level from which we shall, hopefully, never drop.
and
3. While keeping that high, use our excessive funds to fund a clan-warfare campaign designed to get us more clan goodies, all the while keeping our clan safe from the enemies of Spam.

If we can meet these goals I promise you there will be more titles, and better titles, being assigned to those who prove themselves worthy of such honor and praise!

Worship? Hmm...

Anyways, it's simple: click on the chat (after demonstrating literacy), type /channel trade, offer chef hats for 10k meat, and the offers will come. Hasn't failed yet. Also, lots of 10 meat sales are announced, so if you're level 5 or higher, and can therefore access the mall of loathing, you can pick up some neat stuff dirt cheap.

I just so happened to read up on that today.

Basically, if you have a 10 leaf clover in your inventory when you go to the Casino and play the Money Making Game, you should get the big rock.

I have yet to obtain a 10 leaf clover so I can't confirm it works exactly this way, but that's the impression I get. It may take a few tries for all I know.

Yes, my lord.

I am going to focus on rat appendixes and beer goggles and unload them in the marketplace to raise money for the cause. Since I am a seal clubber (wham! seals wham! ), I am going to dump any pasta items into our stash for our pastamakers and sauce makers to have fun with. I think if we diversify then we can maximize our profits and not compete against each other.

I'd like to recommend that we consider a trollbooth for defence: it'll stop hassle attacks from morons, but allow us to still have wars and such.

Mayabird, you jumped heaps of moxie today. My character is Brandi and you just zoomed past me: I must know your secret :)

I'm heading to the trade now!

I've got a Ten Leaf Clover, and the Hermit sells em too. Give me a message in game if you want mine.

People! While you can (if you can) go to the mall and search for "Cottage", the U.S.A. Mafia Car Shop is selling Cottages for 100 meat. BUY THEM. They come in handy both for resting at your campsite AND for defense in the scary world of PvP combat (which I have not entered yet).

So, yeah, get to it.

Quite a lot of us aren't at lvl 5 yet. Maybe someone could get good items like that for cheap and drop a pile in the clanstash to help us newer folks get started? :)
