The maps aren't scalable on the fly. There are simply multiple versions of the same map that are configured for different numbers of players.

While the card itself is 2 years old, the GPU core is much much older.

Just gave it a quick test. Not having followed this tread, how does it compares to joint operations?

*casts thread necromancy*

All, I'm hosting a BF2 game tonight at around 1915 EST.

Name is....SDN Arena

Password is....keep-it-moving

If this works out...we need a SDN Clan...perhaps the SDN Heavy Armour Brigade?

I'll try to be around. Will we get enough people with a password, though?

UTC is Coordinated Universal Time, GMT is Greenwich Mean Time.
Great Britain is one hour ahead of UTC during summer.
It's 1657 here now. The same website says it's 1957 in London, so...yeah.

192.168.1.101

There we go...had a brainfart of a most massive order.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

INcidently, how big do you want the map to be? I think people will want to fly, but it'll be pretty silly if there are 3-4 people running around a 32 or 64 map.

starting it up...him, the arena IP is reading as 192.168.1.101.16567.

I'll be on until 1930...I wonder if I'll have to rent a server...

Yeah, I think I screwed up. sorry guys. Logging off...now. If someone more savy than me wants to host, I'm all for it.

BOOO!
Someone host a game please.

Actually, I don't see a way for anyone to host an internet game - the options are only Join Internet, Join Local, Create Local and RENT A FUCKING SERVER!. Jesus, EA puts MS and Walmart - combined - to shame in the greed department.

There's another way....you have to have a dedicated server. Of course, I don't have a spare computer handy.
