And then to wander around until you encounter an enemy gang. Run over and PUNCH one in the face. They should give chase. Run and run and run until they reach the zone you want to take. Then kill them. Voila. Gang war.

Warning: this is only a little fix for a shitty part of the game. I just found it was easier than waiting for an enemy gang to spawn.
Wonderful, there are no Ballas territories remotely near me.

The mother fucking motel with no Ballas territory even near by.

Easiest way to get out of a turf war is to be in a cab, ambulance, or cop car. Activate their mission and the turf war goes away.

Stangest damned thing just happened... Chased by a cop car with no one in it. I mean the thing is empty, no cops, but its driving itself chasing me.

Yay, bugs!

There was a time when I was playing and one of my homies fell through and invisible hole in the ground. I don't know if he ended up dead or falling for all enternity. Poor guy. Gave his life for Groove Street.

I still have to beat that stupid geek's missions. Stupid Red Barron. Stupid geek.

Red Barron was the hardest mission of the bunch.

Lets see, I still have plenty of racing missions to finish. I have half of the ones behind Wang Cars finished. I have boating, biking, and motorcyle school yet to start. Only finished one of the arrena matches. Never even attempted home invassions, not done any car export work.

Anyway, gang warfare is proceeding fairly well. After learning the trick of herding the gang members around, I managed to get both the Jefferson motel and the skate park with very little trouble. Ballas are on the short end of the stick now. Only 8 territories. I want to wipe out one before starting on another so I don't have to worry about them comming back.

Funny thing, I only just recently learned of the map feature. I've been playing for over a month and beat the plot of the game, and I hadn't even known of the map feature.

The easiest way to deal with the gangs is to get the jetpack from your airfield, then use the roofs as vantage points.

It still is, at least for me!

I'm at "End of the Line", the only thing holding me back is because I'm very lazy when it comes to gang warfare so I don't have all the territories I need yet. And yet that stupid God damned mother fucking Z icon is still there. Taunting me in it's impossibility to pass.

And this is my PS2 version. The one I've had for nearly a year. Gah, that stupid little nerd! Why the fuck do I need his dumb plane again when I could easily hit the road and do it myself? Five satchels, that's all I need.

Ayup. Short of cheating, it's hard to do some of the later Mob missions which take you into the airport without it. That and I think the last mission in that little strand is a pre-req for a later mission (a fun one, IMO). If the guide is to be believed.

Those fucking Ballas are all DEAD! Though it took half of forever to find that god damned infernal TINY strip of territory they still held. At least it spawned gang members like crazy.

Bought up all the property as well. Not exactly a lot of income from these sites. You have the airport, the RC shop, and the car dealership. Not making jack on the car body shop or the casino.

I am comtemplaing whether or not I want to finish flight school at 100% to get the Apache or if I should finish off the other gang first.

The other gang will still attack you, so it's a goal to have.

Incidently you still have the Trucker and the Mine assets you can get. As well as some small stuff in the cities for assests.

As far as I know I've picked up all the buyable assets so far. Yeah I have trucker and mine missions. Do you get them as assets when you finish?

Anyway, I also have some of the races to finish. Backcountry Endurance is a wonderful but fucking infuriating race. Three times I've been in site of the finish line while 1st only to get fucked over. Twice by having another racer suddenly pass me moments before the finish, and once by skidding out when it suddenly started raining and my car blew up. So far I've only managed second on that race.

And yes I know I need to deal with the other gang. Though when your out of Los Santos they leave you alone. So that gave me time to go acquiring property. Too bad you can't rent the nicer safe houses for more income. And too bad they don't have a central location to gather all your money at.

I had a fucking crazy moment a few weeks ago.

I was taking a shortcut up to "Mad Doggs Mansion" - I had yet to get the property, but needed to get up to the top of the Vinewood hills. Anyway. I'm running up his windy driveway and I something. I turn around and see a p-51 Mustang coming in hard and fast at me "North by Northwest" style. I start sprinting to try and keep ahead of it, and it crashes into the ground just behind me, its wreck sliding up the driveway behind me, with me only JUST staying infront of it.

It took me a few minutes to recover from the shock. Then a few more minutes for the laughing fit.

I've noticed the aircraft aren't always the smartest. I saw the P51 fly head first into a construction crane and blow up.

Anyway, just took over all of Los Santos. YES! Also having a little fun buying clothes now. Finaly found some good shades (aviators) and some nice clothing. Also took the blackhawk from the beach and stashed it at the airstrip in the hanger. That airstrip is one hell of a hide out. So far I have two choppers and two planes stashed there. Gonna grab the lear jet and the cessena and stash them at the airstrip as well.

Date the girl from the driving school and after awhile she'll give you her keys to her monster truck.

You can buy it at the Eastern Basin docks. I had it appear after going about halfway through the second list. Another possibility is to start dating Helena (the gun nut girl you find on top of the ammu-nation north of Los Santos) - you don't even have to wine and dine her, and can grab the Bandito from her farm.

If you win the 8-ring race in Los Santos, a monster truck will appear outside the stadium.

P.S.

There's also one on thw western beach in San Fierro by that concrete pier thingy.

And it's also at the Easter Basin Import/Export docks too, on some day of the week that escapes me.

You stored a tank too, huh? :D

Incidently while I did that and saved to get rid of my five star wanted level, I also got a nice abandoned FBI Rancher just sitting on my runway. Score!

As for the hanger, for the PS2 version at least, it seems to eat a vehicle after you put in four. I'm not sure if the PC version is any better with that.

When I put two vehicles in my hanger the oldest one just up and vanished. That was in the PS2 version.

And, God damn are tanks are to get. I remember in Vice City I racked up about 8 or 9 of those suckers by just sitting on a roof near the airport blowing up stuff until I got a high enough wanted level. Then the tanks would just sit there for a while and, I guess, the guys would get out because when I went to hijack them no one was inside. Now the people inside don't leave hardly ever and, when they do, they just hope back on and drag your ass out and bust you.

I always love flying that Hydra around and randomly blowing people up in Los Venturas. Fun times.

It's not - it also eats a vehicle if you squeeze one in. Though the door won't slide open when approach with a vehicle once it's full, so you know when to stop :)

The tank is just awesome. It's much faster than the Rhino from Vice City, and when driving it traffic jams no longer concern you. Plus, Area 69 is right next door to Verdant Meadows and has them in plentiful supply ;)

Some more screenies:
Assault CJ

I've stolen tanks when I rampaged my way to a six star level. But that's not how I got my initial one.

I went to that little water area behind the airfield (where you go in Toreno's Interdicition mission) and nab the Sea Sparrow. Then I go hop into Area 69 right next to one of the hangers with a tank (low and fast so I don't get shot down). After that it was a quick run to my airfield where I stuck the tank in my one-vehicle garage naxt to the save point, hopped out and ran my ass inside and saved. And as I mentioned above I got a FBI Rancher for free!

This is also how I got the Patriot for the Import/Export garage, as this was just easier than trying to make it out of the Easter Basin Naval Base for whatever reason. Probably because I didn't already have the spawned cops shooting at me before I even got out.

PeZook: your "Assault CJ" is fucking bad ass! I'm going to have to give that a try in my game.

It's like a guy out of GI JOE or some action movie. :D

There's a Partiot that spawns at some sort of chem storage area near San Fierro. It's along the road up the moutains where you can see the airfield.

Though, whenever I tried to steal it it was always locked with an alarm. I tried hijacking it with the 'copter with the magnet but I always ended up crashing with it. :banghead:

That tank thing, though, so going to try that.
