I thought anti-covert kept your force's hidden, and prevented people from reconning us?
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

People just go scrolling through the pages looking for good targets. As soon as they find someone suitable, they attack. That's how I got my 1.3B take a couple of pages back. In fact, some of it nearly got taken back from me not a minute after I had finished. Needless to say, I was quick to invest it.fuzzymillipede wrote:This whole attack-within-seconds thing makes me suspect there are bots playing this game.
Battle Report
As with all battles, this one has been recorded for the official history of your realm. You, of course, are the first to know the results as they are reported directly to you first. This is the official report of the battle:
The army of The Dark stormed the realm of ScannerDarkly!
The Dark sent:
1 CounterIntelligence Agents and 0 Offensive NID Team and 34 Offensive Away Team
Careful and thourough observation records that the troops were armed as follows:
2 Offensive Away Team have Mini Nuke
5 Offensive Away Team have Plastic Explosives
25 Offensive Away Team have RPG Rocket Propelled Grenade
2 Offensive Away Team have Grenade
Opposite this, stood the forces of ScannerDarkly
ScannerDarkly resisted the aggressors with:
0 Human Form Defender and 0 Defense Spider
Careful and thourough observation records that the army carried the following arsenal:
In a fury, the two opposing forces clash!
The forces of The Dark rush in full force, and inflict 21,642 damage on ScannerDarkly's forces!
It was confirmed that 0 of ScannerDarkly's forces fell at the hands of The Dark's assult.
The forces of ScannerDarkly fought back with all they could, and managed to inflict 3 damage on The Dark's forces!
They managed to eradicate 0 of The Dark's troops.
The forces of The Dark's CounterIntelligence Agents break off from main attack force, and seek out ScannerDarkly's Infiltration Units!
0 CounterIntelligence Agents are taken down by the defending army while attempting to disengage from the main battle!
The remaining CounterIntelligence Agents engage the covert networks of the realm.
Unfortunately, ScannerDarkly's Infiltration Units were too good at what they do for you to effectively find, target and eliminate.
Putting down the chronicled battle report, you cross reference and call for the corrosponding military armory reports to see the state of your weapons after such a battle...
Your Mini Nuke went from strength 675 to 634 (now 634/675 and 6 percent damaged)
Your Plastic Explosives went from strength 180 to 169 (now 169/180 and 6 percent damaged)
Your RPG Rocket Propelled Grenade went from strength 50 to 47 (now 47/50 and 6 percent damaged)
Your Grenade went from strength 35 to 33 (now 33/35 and 6 percent damaged)
You make a mental note to have these repaired, as you know damaged weapons are not only less powerful, but if damaged enough, must be destroyed.
The forces of The Dark burninated those of ScannerDarkly
The forces of ScannerDarkly flee from the battlefield! One could see glory on the face of the victors, and spite on the defeated!
Considering what was available at the time in the realm of ScannerDarkly, it is recorded that
a total of 25,346,834 Naquadah was taken from the realm of ScannerDarkly
Many wonder if ScannerDarkly will consider retaliation, but - when force meets force - there will have to be some changes in the preparedness of ScannerDarkly before such a feat should wisely be considered!
That's what I thought too, but it appears all "anti-covert" forces do is try to kill the enemys covert forces in an attack. Covert forces is where it's at.I thought anti-covert kept your force's hidden, and prevented people from reconning us?
You're Tauri, be sure to invest serously in your strike. The Dark wrote:Heh.....in order to hide my well-gotten loot, I now have 570 X-302s and 166 Ion Cannon. Of course, I only have 40 soldiers at the moment, but since I boosted that to 175 per day.....
Your problem is that you're not producing enough units. You need to start spending naquadah into increasing it.The Dark wrote:Strike's currently ~4,600,000, but that's because I need soldiers. Every technology's maxed except mercenary control, I have Level 10 intelligence, producing 175 units per day
Yeah, I'm making 565 a day and even that's pathetic.Soontir C'boath wrote:Your problem is that you're not producing enough units. Hey, I'm only making a little over 2x that amount of naq, and only 50% more UP.Chris OFarrell wrote:I'm upto 800 units per day. Making about 400K a turn, not too bad given how late I started, but not too good either.
Get yourself a commander, they give you naq every turn.Agent Fisher wrote:I am at around 200 units a day, and I've only got 20K a turn. But that were the people on the very bottom of the rankings come in. Some real nice multi million naq inactive players, with zero defenses.
Feel free to sign up as my officer. I'm not quite sure how much naq per turn you'll gain from me, but I'll send some bots your way every once in a while.Agent Fisher wrote:I am at around 200 units a day, and I've only got 20K a turn. Yeah. Hit them with multiple lesser strikes. I recommend 5 turns. So if you lose one, it isn't as bad.npisd wrote:The Asgard holographic planet tech--is there anyway to defeat it? I see guys with 60-70mil just hanging around like its nothing and if I try to lighten the load for them, I just waste good turns. Its frustrating.
I already have a commander, Nephtys.SyntaxVorlon wrote:Get yourself a commander, they give you naq every turn.Agent Fisher wrote:I am at around 200 units a day, and I've only got 20K a turn.
