Well, without massive cloning or breeding programs, the populations of the worlds would amount to a relatively insignificant number of total fighting men compared to current STGOD militaries, even if every able-bodied person was drafted.

That's part of the worry, however if the comproise is acceptted than it will be impossible for the Etern to do any such program with us noticing.

The Etern do not have cloning tech, and are showing no signs of developing it. Cultural taboo, much like transporting humans in a.. Transporter.

Prolly won't take long for your intel to find, assuming that you would either contact your agents among them, or send them soon.

Good luck at school. Knowing my first semester, I can say you're prolly making the right choice :P

Look the Ouster's Main Spokesmen!

I'd like to thank Marcao for pointing this out to me. Enjoy!

Nope. If Slick had been me, I would have opened fire on the crowd. Why waste a good distraction?

Actuallly, given the post time, I think Magi was referring to this strip

Where the FUCK did you get the material for a 400 kiloton explosion??

1 kg of matter turning to energy will result in a 21MT explosion, roughly. The bike I brought had a DC power source that had .5 kg of fuel in it. So that's 10 MT. 400 kT would be about 4% of that. Not my fault that you failed to read my post on what I was bringing, or failed to realize the importance of such. Of course, I also made reference to what I was going to be doing earlier, when I pointed out to Thirdfain that he should know what the hell I'm doing there, considering that I used a DC bomb against him in STGOD2, to try to take out his government. Stormbringer figured it out immediately after I posted what I was bringing.

Why the fuck did you think I specified the fuel loads?

What a wasteful civilization! You just lob trash into the sun? This is the future, everything gets recycled! Think of all the wasted materials... those could be made into beds, frisbees, bullets, food like products, electronics...

You realize that the tech level in STGOD 2 as also much much higher. You could have expected much better efficiency.. How did you trigger the bomb

Oh, and, coming back after that, is BS

You cant recycle food products.

ANd, we dont have replicator tech.

Alrightie, this seems to be a point in time which needs pablo and I to get together and figure out where it should go. I have no problems, having Oni being badass. However, wether the post will be allowed to stand or not in its current original glory is something that I will debate with Pablo.

The fact of the matter is that if Oni can utilize these 400kt DC conversion bombs with any sort of regularity, Oni can concievably cause oodles of damage just about anywhere. As of right now, I have not given the situation nearly enough contemplation to lay down a ruling. Furthermore, I like to work with Pablo on stuff like this, so the mods can throw around thoughts and when a ruling comes, we can present a more or less unified front.

Ultimately, I think its preferable for players to work out stuff like this on their own, self-moderation is a wonderful thing but like I said before, I will get pablo to take a look and throw around his perceptions on the matter. Until then, keep the lively debate coming. Oh, I will have a few mod-rulings later today pertaining to Interdictor usage, and a few other tid bits that will prove damn handy should war erupt any time soon. ^_^

So? You have seperate trash cans for each type of waste and expect everyone to use them? Ahh, I don't think I want to finish my lunch, let me sort it. Lets see, paper goes here, food goes there, plastic, ahh that goes over here.
No, of course not, thats just stupid. You take the whole thing, bring it to a plant to sort and process it, then once you have a big mess of stuff you can't process, then you toss it into the sun.

A. Yes, I could have, but then again that bomb was big enough to take out a good section of countryside, as in crater instead of city. Then again, I did only do a 4% efficiency which is actually quite miserable, instead of something much higher.

B. I triggered a timer before I left the bike. Hence Oni checking his damn watch.

C. It ain't BS because I stated long before that I could do that. Back when I introduced my character.[/quote]

And that is just stupid as well. Doing that with seperate recycle cans is one thing. However, a trash can just laying on the street? No. That is just not cost effective.

I'm sorry Beowulf, but the whole DC bomb thing was silly when you did it in the STGOD 2, and it's silly here. You can't realistically have expected Alyrium (or anyone) to counter it unless Alyrium was metagaming up the wazoo. That's not cool. You did something which is completely innocuous in-game and then turned it into a bomb, and the only way to counter it is to cheat, and use out of character knowledge from another game to stop you here.

Oh, I know about the fucking deathtoll. It is a minimum of 1.8 million sentients.

How is checking ones watch conducive to setting a timer? One is passive, the other is active.

And I meant, how exactly did you detonate the bomb? taking bike's power core and turning it into a 400 Kt bomb is... well wankery

A 400kT nuke isn't any larger than what could conceivably fit onto a bike. Ever see a picture of an ICBM warhead? The DC bomb is non-nuclear, and so there isn't any nasty alpha, beta or neutron radiaton to worry about. The DC bomb does require rather easily identifable electronics. It ain't hard to find when you know what to look for. Anybody who knew about the OU in it's heyday, before it fell, should be familiar with what they used, and could find it.
