1) Jokes are only funny if you don't have to force/stretch them to work. I'm fun, but not when it involes misrepresentation.

2) As far as his modern success in gaming goes, he hasn't done anything of note in the last decade, as he and Romero have been basically turning out the exact same game over and over. That's a hack in my book.

3) You should have taken my animosity and rasberries and dropped this all back then. Dragging it on just makes it look like you can't accept the notion that your joke isn't working. No matter how much we keep clarifying eachother, it's not going to be funny or accurate. Sorry.
