Hmm. Spent a few days away, and reached the heady heights of 24mill without actaully doing anything.
I'm amazed that no-one attacked me, really. =/
Anyhow, back to the slog. To the Lego-Mobile!

Probably because there are tons of fools out there running around with ~50 mil to grab instead.Vanas wrote:Hmm. Spent a few days away, and reached the heady heights of 24mill without actaully doing anything.

I'm going to be out of town for four days starting next Thursday, and Internet access is questionable during that time. Should I set my account on vacation mode, or let it sit and collect UU and turns? If I continue to build naq at my current rate (~450k/turn), it'll most certainly be stolen within three days, and I might be raided for UU as well (which is currently at 799/day). These are conservative estimates -- I'm trying to buff UP at the moment, so I might even be over 1000 units/day by next week.
(Edit: Brainfart. Meant 799/day, not turn, which would be nice but ridiculous.)

I'd say go on vacation mode. The UU and naq gain isn't worth the risk. Two days is worth a shot, three is pushing it anything over four is blah.Datana wrote:I'm going to be out of town for four days starting next Thursday, and Internet access is questionable during that time. Nope, still spending pretty much everything I have on boosting units/day. Up to 622, but I want to get it higher still.Matt Huang wrote:Do you have a mothership providing support for those X-302's?The Dark wrote:Stupid PPT.....I spot a poor sap with over 150 million naq, but he's still under the Treaty. Huzzah! The Impending Doom saves the day! Unfortunately, she has 1bil defense. So no retaliation, for now.As with all battles, this one has been recorded for the official history of your realm. You, of course, are the first to know the results as they are reported directly to you first. This is the official report of the battle:
The army of Wycked Goddess stormed the realm of Darth Yoshi!
Wycked Goddess sent:
491 Anti-Intelligence Drone and 1,723 Attack Clone and 6 Attack Drone
Careful and thourough observation records that the troops were armed as follows:
1,723 Attack Clone have DNA Targeted Multispectrum Disintegration Weapon
6 Attack Drone have DNA Targeted Multispectrum Disintegration Weapon
Opposite this, stood the forces of Darth Yoshi
Darth Yoshi resisted the aggressors with:
1,021 Human Form Defender and 0 Defense Spider
Careful and thourough observation records that the army carried the following arsenal:
1,021 Human Form Defender have Repli-Bomb
In a fury, the two opposing forces clash!
Darth Yoshi was was commanding Impending Doom, thier MotherShip.
Darth Yoshi's Impending Doom provides 56,151,406 additional defence power to the troops on the ground!
The forces of Wycked Goddess rush in full force, and inflict 88,840,241 damage on Darth Yoshi's forces!
It was confirmed that 8 of Darth Yoshi's forces fell at the hands of Wycked Goddess's assult.
The forces of Darth Yoshi fought back with all they could, and managed to inflict 112,302,812 damage on Wycked Goddess's forces!
They managed to eradicate 26 of Wycked Goddess's troops.
The forces of Wycked Goddess's Anti-Intelligence Drone break off from main attack force, and seek out Darth Yoshi's Infiltration Units!
15 Anti-Intelligence Drone are taken down by the defending army while attempting to disengage from the main battle!
The remaining Anti-Intelligence Drone engage the covert networks of the realm.
Unfortunately, Darth Yoshi's Infiltration Units were too good at what they do for you to effectively find, target and eliminate.
The damage done by the Anti-Intelligence Drone was directly influenced by their covert killing capacity, and the covert capacity of the defending Infiltration Units
The damage to the Anti-Intelligence Drone was directly influenced by the defending military power, and the strength of the Anti-Intelligence Drone
Putting down the chronicled battle report, you cross reference and call for the corrosponding military armory reports to see the state of your weapons after such a battle...
Your Repli-Bomb went from strength 2,560 to 2,557 (now 2557/2560 and 0 percent damaged)
Your Bio Targeting Swarm went from strength 10 to 10 (now 10/10 and 0 percent damaged)
The forces of Darth Yoshi massacred those of Wycked Goddess
The forces of Wycked Goddess flee from the battlefield! One could see glory on the face of the victors, and spite on the defeated!
The forces of Wycked Goddess could not secure a foothold in the realms of Darth Yoshi!
The armies of Wycked Goddess were forced out of the realm of Darth Yoshi in a none to glorious fashion! The defending forces were simply too much for them....
There are lessons to be learned here - old cliches of your race abound... biting and chewing...eyes and stomach...enemies and friends... too little too late.. stitch in time...books and covers --- but... one would guess that those defeated who lived were simply thankful for escape at the time, and running to become better prepared for the next excursion. It is sure that Darth Yoshi will be considering a return visit to Wycked Goddess!

I know this has been said before by many here, but sometimes I really hate the PPT. Even when I know there is no way that a person will let the PPT lapse with a quarter trillion naq, I just hope they're connecton goes down or something and I can hit them again.
Thus ends my completely random and pointless rambling on the PPT.

Damn, yes. That's the other one that gets me going. At least for right now. Damn fucking holo planets. I'd have to get a better idea what the percent chance to dick the attacker is, but so for it's done nothing but piss me off.npisd wrote:I here you. PPT is only bested in the things about SGW I hate book by the Asgard holo planets.
Come down from your ivory towers lined with $20 donations and fight us with honor!
And I suppose I should be clear enough that I can understand having it, especially with people who do donate to the site. I know that it's going to take some money to to run and support the game. I like it and am glad it's free, but am fine with giving people some things if they donate. Doesn't mean I can't be the jack-ass I am and wish minorly bad things to happen to a free game account.
As for honor...pfft, I just want the naq.
Since I'm still here, and I can, I'll add that it's more an issue to me of the folks who are on the PPT as much as they fucking can be. I watched an account for what I think was 4 days. They then went to vacation mode and now are right back on the PPT. This is the situation that bothers me. I just suck at expressing myself with words I think.

You guys know you don't have to pay the 20 bucks to get a PPT right? I go on PPT using naq on the 20th, and I've been on many times before, still having not paid a dollar to the site...

I know that full well. Amazingly enough, that doesn't change any of my opinions on people who spend all of their time on it. The thing that might change for me is my opinion of the person. If they pay for it, and are doing it to just support the site, that's pretty good. If they're doing it just for the bonus and to get better stuff in the game, that's pretty sad really. Using the 3 bil plus trading method doesn't really bother me when it's done in moderation.Naquitis wrote:You guys know you don't have to pay the 20 bucks to get a PPT right? Well, I stole 120,000,000 naq and 7000 UU, then traded for my supporter status and went on PPT. I'm protected for 48 hours, however I can't attack others (I think) during this time.
Now that I have SS, I will see how much resources I can make by trades.
Also, I have 34,826 troops in my army, how many do all of you guys have?

You guys should figure out how much your account is worth; I'm worth $9.30 now! What you need to do is see how many soldiers you have total, and subtract the amount of miners that cannot be untrained. Then multiply 0.3 by how many thousands of soldiers you have left, because the exchange rate from UU to dollars is 1,000 UU = $0.30.
I have 34,965 soldiers, and 3,352 "lifters". So you subtract and get 31,613, then since there are 31 multiples of 1,000 you multiply
31 * 0.3 = 9.3
to get the account worth. That is only a rough value, but it shows that you can make some money off this game.

$4.14. Whoop dee doo. That's less than one hour's min. wage here.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Look at it this way, if you had 7,000 UP, you'd make 210,000 or so UU a month, and that makes $63 every month. You could pay your ISP bill with that!
On another note, I just got 1 bill naq. That should boost my defence and covert, so those damn farmers should slow down.
-update-
Wow, someone just sent me 98,999 UU! Heh, too bad I had to give it back to him. Well, at least I have his trust. Though, with all that UU just sitting under my nose it was hard to resist taking it.
