RE: Jump Gates

The DE seeks permission to construct Jumpgates into your space for ease of miliary access to your systems. This will also allow your ships to use our form of FTL to get to allied systems, without the worry of pirate attacks or being interdicted.
Though we would be more then willing to accept such a system near the Mardup colonies we must disalow such a thing from being built in the Far Point system as it might reveal its location to enemy powers, something which we would really not like.
Via the same methods as used for the floaters, the access codes and beacon frequency are delivered to the Monocorans.

Your sport has gained a surprisingly large following among our people. Skavenblight would be delighted to host a stadium.

The KSE wished for Gravball stadiums on Krytos, Covelan and Crodani prime (second planet in third system of KSE)

The ATJ ConglomoCorp is putting forth a tender for two "floating" stadiums each equipped with internal hyperdrive that can be moved anywhere they are required.

We are also tendering for all catering contracts.

The ATJ ConglomoCorp is also going to be the major sponsor of the "North Edge Phoenixes".

Due to the aid of our Hegemony and Floater allies construction of Astralegios I has been fully completed. The battleship Constantine has assumed command. We thank our allies profusely and have set in motion the construction of Astralegios II.

We respectfully ask permission to build in the Sol system a warp transportation network similar to that in the Skaven home system. Such a network would greatly facilitate long-distance trade, as it is in most cases faster and cheaper than hiring in-system freighters. Because Skryre Warpworks has recently completed its latest major project, now is an excellent time to start work.
SC Transportation Subsidiary will sell you the X3rd hyperspace gateway system, which has stops at each of the outer gas giants, Mars, the asteroid belt, and Earth.

Hmm. 83 ships*punches in a few keys* 41,500,000,000 credits...242 ships will cost you...121,000,000,000 It is a cnsiderable investment, ut the benifits to your nay will be astronmical. And for no extra charge, we will give you the corporate version of our tractor beams...The unit price for each AG unit is 500,000,000 credits, that is roughly 50,000,000 over the cost of building, and is a very good deal. Nor wll you find anyone with more expertice with gravity than us. I assume this is for the Monacoran Navy? If that is the case, you should have no problem covering the costs.

Please fill these out*hands a clipboard with a few forms* and we will send engineers and parts after these are processed.

Thank you for choosing IMPERIAL GRAVITICS
"500 mil a unit!?! We aren't made of money, the Army is, and they HATE us. How about I give you four hundred and fifty million a unit, that would give you 37.35 billion for eighty three ships. That good?"

Well...Because you are our allies, and you need this...I can give you 460 mil a unit. Just over cost of construction. I cant go any lower than that without talking to my government.

Mardup is interested in having a colony stadium, maybe two teams. Also the Earth teritories are interested in having local teams. If you could schedule it we could also fit two teams on Far Point, but you would have to account for the week travel time between Far Point and Earth.

Also, the Monacoran National lacrosse team is interested in hiring Crimson Chaos for their team, paying one million monacoran dollars a year for three years. From there he would become a free agent and if he was good other teams might wish to hire him.

That sounds alright to us, send your technicians and engineers to Earth, and we will take them to Far Point from there.

Just as a reminder to ITA nations, the chancellorship polls close shortly, so if you haven't voted in them yet please do so. To recap what it's all about:

The Minmatar Representative has been nominated for Chancellor.
He has agreed to allow the rotation of the position.
A vote of no confidence system will be made effective immediately upon election.
His first act as Chancellor will be to reduce freight transportation costs by establishing an interstellar transit system between ITA systems.

The Black Forest and her battle group had planned the raid well. They emerged from FTL right on top of the convoy and opened fire. No warning, no quarter.

The ITASF ships attempted to protect their charges but proved impotent. All four of the escorts died under the hail of fire from the massive warship and her battlegroup. They didn't cease firing until all twenty four of the convoy ships were vaporised ruin. Floater, Roman, and Monacoran, all were broken hulks.

The only thing they left behind was a beacon, broadcasting a message on a repeating loops.

"We are the True Children of Kokand. We still fight the war others have abandoned. Never shall we bend knee to the evil and inhuman Floater or their corrupt allies. Never mercy, never quarter."

RE: Terrorist attacks

These terrorist attacks on trde convoys must stop. We reccomend that the ITASF increase protection of convoys. To this end we will be donating our full contingent of Swarmer Class Carriers. Along with a full contingent of fighers and bombers until these attacks stop.

Private Jensen of Duncan's Divison looked at the small town, dragoons and husar helicopters would scout the town soon, and then the rest of the RCT would go in. Jensen's job was to make sure everyone who came out was logged, and to monitor all seismec activity in the area. Kokkand Suicide troops were definetly inside the town, they had just come from Riyadh where they had put down what must have been at least a batallion of men.
Ironically enough the local Muslims praised and loved the Monacoran troops who had come in, and these were the local snitches who helped them to locate the suicide troops.
The ground rumbled, looking down at the seismograph he had with him Jensen noted how high, and wrote down the note of a probable Earthquake from the North, unfortunatley he was wrong.

Monaco, Jerusalem, and every other sensing location across the world detected the explosion, and most traingulated it to within Monacoran Teritory, and to put it in the words of the chief officer in the Andorran sensing location, "Why the hell did we just blow up a nuke?"

BROADCAST FROM NAPLES
LAND ACT PASSES SENATE
ROME DENOUNCES RECENT ATTACK

The Land Distribution Act passed the Senate today, bringing into effect a variety of rules for governing the recent Roman acquisitions. Along with dividing the territories up into sections and providing for the governing of each section, the Act also allows for the purchase of sections in any African, Anatolian, or Martian territory. The sections may then be broken up and sold as individual plots.

Further, this act stated that upon reaching one hundred thousand Roman citizens, the territories will be admitted as provinces. The act also set up a section of the budget for construction of Caesar Station II; the station will include a memorial to those killed in the Four Hours War when the first station was destroyed.

Several legions have been assigned to permanent garrison duty in the newly acquired territory. It also included plans for building up the Earth territories to the level of the surrounding provinces.

The Emperor also angrily denounced the recent attack by Kokand forces, calling it a 'terroristic strike' and a 'cowardly action'. The Astralegios I has been put on high alert.

With the Lupi-fleet refitting nearing completion, the Senate has approved plans for the construction of over a dozen new Lupi, a hundred new crusiers of the newly unveiled Accipiter-class, and the beginning of Astralegios II. The creation of the cruisers will be undertaken in the Hegemony shipyards, while Astralegios II will be built in the Mohaim and Roman shipyards currently residing in the Octavius system.

The DES Manticore patroled space, weapons hot. Shields and defense grid up at maximum. News of the recent terrorist attacks on shipping lanes had the captain worried. He looked out the window at the cargo ships carrying precious artificial gravity equipment, and breathed a sigh of relief when the jump-pont opened and the ships entered hyperspace without incedent.
