For the AGM-175A Diamondback:
221kg warhead
1000kg overall weight
M3.5 cruise speed (10 minutes at cruise speed)
400 nmi range
J102 turbojet powered

It's not a very long range missile, but at very long ranges, you're probably only going to hit if the target is stationary. On the plus side, it fits inside a Mk41 VLS cell, which means I don't need special launchers to fire it.

Incidentally, the 45-degree tubes are large enough to house even newer missiles, so this design isn't going to retire soon.
Hey Stas, is the boat that heavy it needs 4 propulsion units?

Probably would want to grab some of those to replace the harpoons on my ships, or supplement the Tomahawks.

No ;) that's called "mixed propulsion". It means you have blade rotors (possibly extendable) for additional speed if needed, and pumpjets for slow-but-deadly creeping ;)

Small :( Too small, too light. Also, how does it achieve a 400 nmi (700 km) range? Must be flying high. I mean, a BrahMos with a similar payload doesn't weigh 1000 fucking kgs, noes - more like 3000-4000 kgs.

Yeah, it flies high. It's not a sea skimming missile. It's also using a more efficient turbojet engine, instead of a ramjet. Wiki says (yeah, yeah) the air launched Brahmos is around 2500 kg. The BrahMos is probably also being limited by MCTR restrictions, rather than technical limits. The surface launched version of the AGM-175 will weigh more, due to the rocket booster.

Mostly because of shit conditions, but also because, you know, Karic is the single most wanted man there? :D

His best bet would be to cross into Cascadia, then Vulpesia with a crapload of stolen money (hey, his government was a kleptocracy) and plan the attacks there, hiring mercenaries, buying friends, etc.

I'm not sure on the plan itself, though. Probably something involving carbombs?

Setting the initial stages in Vulpesia would be doubly awesome, because it's our very own Montenegro ;)
He must be one hell of a swimmer. :D

Alright, off he goes.

You can write that he intends to visit the families who lost their family members in the recent war, a visit to the labs, etc. And if you want the Emperor to visit the Serenity parliament, by all means write it in. Q&As are welcomed, along with some chit chat.

Bleh... I think we should go with a Shkval homing version (Shkval-2).

The Vodopad needs a nuclear warhead to be effective, and its torp warhead is far too small to be effective enough.

However, 53-65 Type torps should be used as backup munition... with a speed of 68,5 knots, they are a good weapon against enemy surface assets.

You know, I actually missed that. Then 5 minutes later I was like, "Wait, what?" :?

Then I started laughing like a madmang in the middle of the street. :D

I think SD.net world has begun to affect me in some rather strange ways.

P.S.

Stas your avatar is fucking awesome. :D

We could always add nuclear warheads later. No hurry... no hurry.. (I hope)

Was about to say before Rogue's swimmer remark, Cascadia's on the wrong continent. :P

Oh, Shroom, Cascadian peacekeepers are already in Chesapeake. Two brigades by air to get a presence and set things up, more coming by sealift. THough I'm sending a bit more than 1,000.

Need any help to get Zorin to go back to Cascadia?

P.S.

Shroom I love your stories. :D

Enjoy is rather the wrong word. Some Astarians are apparently in dire need of extradition to Shepistan for the industrial shredder treatment.

We would indeed enjoy Byzantium supporting an attempt to convince the CSR to rejoin the conference.

And I see no need to read Norse's update, I'm well aware of what he likes to do and won't respond to attempts at cheap infuriation.

I am toying with the idea of Nalecki executing the guy during an arrest. But I don't know if that will actually happen :D

If there's any justice in the world, the man will be eaten by piranhas.

Anyway, I was doodling with Paint.NET and produced a map of (a bit of) north-western Frequesue. More specifically, of the region just south of San Dorado's south-western border:

Take it Veg is insisting that his security services do the honors?
