Yeah. If it's unlocked, we'll walk right in, identifying ourselves clearly.

In that case, Zack you see exactly that, Bosco leading six armed officers towards the door.

Vaso is working on Rock, getting him all nicely prepped and Suds has gone elsewhere in the club, presumably his office.

Bosco, there's a length of hallway in front of you, there's a doorway on the right, two on the left and a solid looking firedoor at the far end.
Next bit's all on you two.

I take a deep breath as we enter the club, but the fighting seems to have gone silent. I quickly ascertain the situation, assuming the secure firedoor leads to the dance floor - a sensible precaution when operating such an insane place.

"Police!", I identify myself loudly, "We're here to help!". It's a formality, but I wouldn't like to have to explain myself to a review board after such a shitty day, in addition to having to fill out the usual paperwork.

"Okay...two of you, watch the door on the right. We'll clear the rooms on the left one by one.", I instruct the officers who went in with me, and then move up on point, watching my angles and making sure no drug-addled crazy motherfucker is getting ready to jump us from one of the rooms.

[Norade]

After seeing just the thing he was hoping to avoid Zack heads back to the surgery and is just finished dialing when he hears a voice that's beginning to make him wish he'd just stayed home today. Vaso is busy working to get Rock ready so Zack just sits, his cannon leaning against his leg and the other rifle slung over his shoulder, and makes his call. No point in trying to leave and no reason to have the door painted. That that many cops he'd need to have actually brought some of his bigger heat with him and not just his lever action cannon to supplement Rock's well cared for assault rifle.

When the phone starts ringing long he starts wondering what his boys are up to.

The first room on the left is just a storage closet, mops, brooms and the like.

The two officers that inspect the room to the right will see Zack sitting in the little make-shift operating room and Rock being worked on.

The third door is a dead bolted with some kind of electronic lock, it looks like it is controlled from the inside.

Near the large door at the end of the hallway you can still hear the muffled sounds of a continueing brawl, though it does sound like it's near over. One of the other officers' radio crackles and you can hear the two men stationed outside reporting that more and more gangers are stumbling out the main doors. Still in groups too large to risk apprehending.


Zack, Joe finally picks up and you can hear the chatter of machine gun fire and the red-lining of the car in the backround. "We took one of the cop cars out, still got one in pursuit. These fuckers got twin machine guns coming out the front fenders man! we can't fucking shake 'em! Traffics too think and he's dogging us from the sides, Jake and Eddy have both been hit, and they took out our rear tyres! I don't think they're gonna make it man! FUCK!!!" You hear the phone clatter to the floor while he sreams his last profanity.

"All right, stack up", I say after checking the second door and discovering it securely locked. I set up with the officers next to the final door left, and when we're ready, we move in - fast, but without screaming and shouting and grenades.

As I sweep the room and see Zack, I act as if I don't recognize him, "NCPD! Hands where we can see them!"

[Norade]

As the phone conversation becomes heated Zack flicks the call over to speaker phone and tries to work out what's going on. Zack's brain finally catches up to what Joe's yelling was about a few moments after his fixer contact has stopped talking. However before he can ask what's going on the boys in blue come in calling out for him to get his hands up. It obvious Bosco's not happy and is trying to play it coy.

Zack raises his hands and says, "Bosco, it's good to see you again. I really don't have time to talk though, I have a team of idiots that I need to talk out of shooting at more of Night City's finest. If you'll let me deal with this I'll be more than happy to talk after."

[PeZook]

"Oh...right, it's you", I say. Before anything else, I make sure no guns are within reach of anybody in the room, "Fine. If you get your guys to surrender peacefully, the judge will probably take it as an exenuating circumstance."

Well, so much for trying to get him out of it, I think to myself.

Seeing the confused expressions of remaining officers, I smirk and say, "What, you didn't think I came here for a relaxing dose of bloodsports, did you? Watch him", I point to Zack, and turn towards the operating table, "Where's the owner?", I ask the creepy guy who's obviously some sort of ripperdoc.

[Norade]

Looking at Bosco the nomad says, "How are we going to do this? I have this on speaker phone so they likely heard you, but your boys won't stop just because mine have. You'd better call up those cars and call them off if you want this thing over quick and painless."

When the person he had come here to contact tells his fellow officers to watch him Zack says, "Am I being charged with anything? I haven't fired a shot and did everything in my power to exit the club with as little loss of life as possible."

[PeZook]

Looking at Bosco the nomad says, "How are we going to do this? I have this on speaker phone so they likely heard you, but your boys won't stop just because mine have. You'd better call up those cars and call them off if you want this thing over quick and painless."

"If your guys stop shooting and pull over, the pursuit will end. Why wouldn't it? As for charges, that's for the DA to decide, not us. I'm just being cautious."

[Kheitain]

"Eh? Do you have to do that!!? This is a reasonably sterile environment! Can't you see I'm trying to remove an arm here!?" Vaso protests. "The owners probably in his fucking office calling some mildly competant cleaning crew to fucking get his club ready for tomorrow night! FUCK!" He slaps his scalpel down on the stainless steel tray. "And where the hell are my replacement shoulder pieces?"

Rock is still blissfully unconscious in the chair, his arm half amputated. The inside is pretty mangled, he's going to need most of the joint replaced.

[Norade]

Speaking into the phone Zack says, "Guys if you can hear me drop your weapons and pull over."

Then Zack slides the phone into his pocket where he can still hear it, grabs the rifle leaning against his chair by the barrel, and gets up as if to leave. As he starts to rise he says, "If you have nothing to charge me with I'll be going now."

[PeZook]

Speaking into the phone Zack says, "Guys if you can hear me drop your weapons and pull over."

Then Zack slides the phone into his pocket where he can still hear it, grabs the rifle leaning against his chair by the barrel, and gets up as if to leave. As he starts to rise he says, "If you have nothing to charge me with I'll be going now."

I glance behind me while the surgeon raves and rambles, to see Zack reaching for his rifle, "Not so fast. You'll be staying until the club is secured and the DA decides not to charge you.", I turn to an officer, "Get him cuffed. As for you...", I turn again, back towards the surgeon, "I don't have time to ask uncomfortable questions right now, so just get that over with so that the guy doesn't bleed out."

If everyone complies, I turn my attention to Rock's rifle and field strip it, putting the breech assembly in my pocket.

[Norade]

"Now Bosco, I don't think cuffing me is a good idea. My fixer Joe's still alive and he has a recording of everything we spoke on earlier and we both know with a single click he can e-mail that to say, the head of Petrochem's security division. Besides, how will your poor sister do without my protection?" Says Zack as he waves off an officer sent to cuff him.

[Kheitain]

"Could you dolts argue somewheres else? It's fucking crowded in here." Vaso continues he's rant.

Over an intercom, as Zack is protesting you hear Suds' staticky voice, "Vaso, why are there police standing outside my door? I am not under any investigation that I know of and do not appreciate them harrassing my surgeon and Head of Security..." He trails off at the end, and you hear the distinctive pop as he lets his finger off the button.

Meanwhile, from Zack's pocket comes a muffled, "Are you insane? They've got twin machineguns on us, the car looks like swiss-fraggin'-cheese! We managed to get a semi between us for a moment, make them stop!"

OOC: I realize this is alot of yelling all at once, it made sense to me for everyone to be argueing at once in this situation.

[PeZook]

"Just fucking cuff him!", I say to the officer, trying to stay on top of the situation, "And don't forget his Miranda warning."

I face another officer, hearing the muffled shouts from Zack's cell phone, "Try to contact dispatch and inform them the suspects may surrender in a moment. I don't want any incidents."

In all the confusion, I managed to miss what the intercom was saying.

[Norade]

Speaking slowly Zack says, "Joe send the file to Petrochem's defense department, also, start recording all of this. Then get Ashton to pull the car over when the cops have stopped shooting and show signs of slowing down."

Then looking back to Bosco the nomad says in a very firm slightly raised voice, "Don't fuck with me Bosco, I'm just scratching the surface of what I can do to you and unlike you I have resources outside of work and I have shit on you. Your sister for example... Not to mention the fact that we both know the video will clear me of any wrong doing. The worst you can pin on me is a fine and you know it."

(OOC: Zack was more mentioning how he could help your sister the first time around. This time was certainly more of a threat.)

[PeZook]

"We'll talk about it in court", I cut the discussion, "Cuff him and put him in a cruiser, make sure he knows his Miranda rights. One of you stays here to watch these two", I nod towards the ripperdoc and the psycho nomad he's operating on, "Let's get the rest of the club clear."

[Kheitain]

Again over the intercom Suds asks, "Why are you in my club? I havn't been served any notice for your presence here so you are in fact trespassing. If you would kindly exit my operating room, now, and leave my workers in peace I'll be happy to talk to whoever may be in charge and sort out why you are here."

The officer relays the message through his vest mounted radio while you and Zack are having your dispute.

OOC: Bosco you do need to be arresting him for something if you cuff him

[Norade]

"Listen to Suds guys, even if he didn't have my back you guys have admitted to not having anything to charge me on and I have that recorded. You could all lose your badges over this if I pressed hard enough," says Zack speaking more the other officers than to Bosco.

As he speaks he listens to the phone hoping that the sounds of gunfire have stopped. He knows that if his guys have done any real damage it'll be tough to save them from brain dance or worse, but he'd still rather they be alive long enough to get sprung if it comes to it. At the same time he wonders how fast another pack could get there to save those guys asses...

[PeZook]

"I wasn't arresting you, just following procedure...", I smile, "But now I am, for threatening a police officer. The DA and courts will decide if I was in the right."

OOC: Bosco you do need to be arresting him for something if you cuff him

Not really, it's common to cuff civilians/hostages in a dynamic situation like that, until you can identify them and let them go later on (especially armed people). You can't arrest somebody (as opposed to cuffing them, leading them outside and checking their ID) unless you've seen them commit a felony or misdemeanor, have probable cause they did, or there's a warrant.

If it was any other way, a cop would not be able to stop a guy wearing gang colors haging around the scene of a gang shooting, which is clearly ridiculous.

[Norade]

"Joe, stop recording now. It's time for plan B. Tell Ashton to pin that thing and drive evasive, then call Trauma Team to get those cruisers off of you, lastly have some of our finest pick up Bosco's sister," says Zack smiling at Bosco as he speaks and then, speaking directly to the cop, "You willing to stay here and take that chance Bosco? I can call that off still if you'd like."

He also looks to the other cop and says, "I have another reason not to cuff me, that being the rest of the pack that I haven't called in yet. I came out here to see if Bosco wanted the same thing I did, that didn't work out. Now he's here off duty bossing you two around, this isn't worth your time is it? Especially not when you're staring down a guy armored head to toe with a loaded gun over his shoulder. I ain't threatening, but I take it you get my meaning."

[PeZook]

"You really should've just shut up and you'd have been off tomorrow.", I look at the officer who's apparently hesitating, "What are you waiting for? Do it."

[Norade]

"Maybe, but I'm still better off than you are Bosco, you could have taken down my info right here and let me walk. Instead you get Petrochem looking for you and your sister disappears. I think I can handle both of those problems for you, you just need to stop being so straight edge and take a deal," Zack says as he tenses a bit.
