Well, I thought that since today's my last day at my full-time job that I might be able to drive up, hang with my best friend who lives in Manhattan, and then drag her to the movie with y'all...assuming I'd get over feeling like you all would be disappointed in me BUT, I forgot that I agreed to play tympani for Christmas Eve mass, and the rehearsal is that Saturday morning, so no dice. I get $150 for an hour of rehearsal and an hour and a half of playing easy church musak. Ain't ditchin' that!

Just thought I'd let you guys know that I sorta tried to make it work...kinda. :D

It's not that, exactly. It's just hard having the rep I have, y'know? People expect much, methinks.

And they don't from Dalton, Phil, Greg and I... it is a heavy burden we ASVS regs have to bear - Gods amongst men, Adonis personified, more intelligent than Einstein and wittier than Wilde. Thankfully we simply set the Lump club on anyone that complains after a personal appearance.

The only way you could disappoint us, is if you were a 6'6 bloke with a beard you could hide a bear in. :P

In all seriousness, I just think people will be happy to meet people they've been chatting to for the last year or so. And if some have built up unrealistic pictures of others, then that's their problem.
You can only be you, no one can ask for more.

And just a matter of asking...the tickets aren't up yet, right(even if so 1:30 shouldn't be hard to get)?

You can buy the tickets now if you want, but we have to be absolutely sure of the time.
