You're right. For some reason I thought there was an inherent Coordination bonus. I changed it so it makes it clear that it's both eyes. I'm not too keen on the visor or goggles idea, though. I mean, there's nothing cybernetic about that. Why bother with a visor or goggles you can never take off instead of just buying a visor or normal set of goggles that does the same thing?
Style, for one. Plus, with a visor setup, you could actually get a wider range of vision depending on how far back it wraps around your head.
If someone wanted a visor or goggles instead of normal looking eyes, that would be fine.
Right. I mean, the whole idea of cybernetics is that you look normal. You can get a set of goggles with the same IR, X-ray and other stuff as SS eyes for a lot less, but everyone will be able to see that you're wearing expensive goggles.
How expensive would these sorts of goggle be, exactly? Also, how about custom "shades" that have 1-2 options? You know. For style.

Probably not too expensive for some nice military surplus goggles, like a hundred bucks or so. James Bond style shades though, would probably be more like $500 or $1000.

Updated both the CP rules and template. Fleshed out the Telepathy system more (a couple more powers and it should be done), changes to the Skill system, and added a new Weakness.
With the template, changed the way the Skills are laid out (now according to what Stat they correspond to), and added a new Stat, Aptitude. Aptitude is for knowledge based skills like Law or Medicine. I'll put it in the CP rules when I get the chance. Rather than fool around with bonus points, just think of it that you have a 6 in every Stat (except Psi of course) and go from there. I don't know why that simpler explanation didn't occur to me earlier.

Hotfoot was nice enough to make an Excel spreadsheet that calculates XP cost for the skills you want easily. Just enter the number of Skills you have at each level and it will spit out the total cost.

YOu guys can edit the character sheets cant you?
Um, it is isnt to much trouble, can you switch the 5 in Aptitude for my 7 in awareness.. then use the extra point gleened from the new stat, and put it in aptitude to make it an 8?
Otherwise, I can do that with my own records wthout a problem... then just resend...

You're going to have to re-send anyway because of the new skill system (everyone gets 150 XP, btw), we'll just see those changes when you do.
P.S. Edited my previous post, as the Spreadsheet XP calculator now handles Tier 1 and Tier 3 as well.

Hotfoot pointed out the folly of making the bases 6 instead of having 1 bonus point for each stat. Bonus points can be put anywhere, while Stat exchanges can only be made between Combat and Combat, Non-combat and Non-combat. So forget that base of 6 stuff. The bases are 5, and there's 1 bonus point for each stat (except Psi of course, so that makes 7 bonus points total now).

I still have to add a power you're just gonna love. Other than that, it's pretty complete for now I think.

I don't see any mistakes. You did a good job. I only have two questions and one remark:
1. What's an RB .454?
2. Why did you take a Smartgun processor and then not pick a Smartgun equipped weapon?
3. I hope you're not planning on being able to carry around all that weaponry. A person as strong as this guy could manage the weight, but finding space for an MP7, .454 Win revolver (I'm guessing that's at least a 6" barrel), and two different types of grenades on one's person is already a stretch, when you add a .50 AMR rifle to the mix it becomes almost comical to imagine.
Anyway, you can send the sheet as is to Gerard_Paloma as far as I'm concerned for putting up on the site, or change stuff first. Your call. Thanks for taking interest

Hi Arhtur,
I was helped out a great deal by Hotfoot so I can't take credit for the lack of mistakes. I will answer your questions in order.
1. RB .454 is shorthand for a Raging Bull .454 Casull revolver. They are manufactured by Taurus Arms.
http://www.taurususa.com/products/produ ... y=Revolver
2. This is a preliminary version of the stats. I have not taken the time to finalize all the weapon designs yet. I will do so now.
3. I am not planning on playing the quake marine. I do want to have a weapon for "every" occasion. It is a pet peeve of mine when I make combat characters. I plan on carrying one or two weapons at most so don't worry too much. ^_^
thanks for taking the time of going over the character.

Raging Bull .454 Revolver. Huge freaking pistol.
2. Why did you take a Smartgun processor and then not pick a Smartgun equipped weapon?
Come to think of it, I don't see any rules for smartguns, options or pre-existing. Just the processor.
3. I hope you're not planning on being able to carry around all that weaponry. An MP7 is not very big, actually, it's almost a pistol. They have holsters for it. As it is, I know for a fact he's not planning on carrying all of this on his back (well, at least not unless there's some serious killing that needs doing).
Anyway, you can send the sheet as is to Gerard_Paloma as far as I'm concerned for putting up on the site, or change stuff first. Your call. Thanks for taking interest

One question I would like to raise, now that I think about it. Is it intentional that the Audio Processor bonus and the Supersoldier ear bonuses stack? Can the same thing be done with visual processors and supersoldier eyes?
Also, I'm going to have to mention the inherant flaw in the Lie Detector package. It costs $7,000 to get it (SS Ears + Lie Detector) but is then useless against anyone with a simple $1,000 Circulatory Regulator. You need at least the Tier 2 trait to get a package which is easily defeated by someone with the Tier 1 trait.
Just some notes I made from when I was helping him make his character.
Also, you will now see why I consider Mikal somewhat higher than a -10 when you see what Ernesto is like.

Ah ok, that makes sense.
I should have known that RB would mean Raging Bull. For some reason my mind just blanked.

Seriously though, that's one of the next things I'll get to.

Yes, they stack. One enhances the actual quality of the sound/vision, while the other analyzes for anomalies.

But the lie detector itself only costs $2,000. 5 grand goes for the ears that have their own benefits. So it's 2 grand for a lie detector that works on anyone that hasn't been upgraded. I'd say that's fair.[/quote]

Oh, also could we get a revised headcount? I know Alyrium, Hotfoot, Gerard, and Marcao are still interested, but others haven't said anything in a while or submitted up to date character sheets. Just kind of raise your hand if you still want in.

Okay, just making sure. By the way, what's the total limit on the SS Eyes as far as options go? Right now it seems like it's unlimited, so long as you keep paying $1,000 past the first three. Is that the case?
But the lie detector itself only costs $2,000. 5 grand goes for the ears that have their own benefits. So it's 2 grand for a lie detector that works on anyone that hasn't been upgraded. I'd say that's fair.

CorSec, Alyrium, thanks for the updates. I finally got around to uploading them to the website. So from now on (unless the template goes through a major change), if you need to make any updates to your sheets, be sure to grab the newest version from the site (to minimize any errors made, I go through them before I upload, and fix minor bits).
You other guys still in, or not? Haven't gotten anything from you, so...what's up?
