Is it a problem I'm trading my units in on 1:5 ratio? I want real crack troops for my people.

See how its one colour?
That's what the game map is going to look like soon, and that will be my nation's colour.
I'm going to get everyone, but first the nations next to me.

I don't think so... why? Because traveling half the continent to fight a barbarian horde, with only a slim prospect of getting land you might desire, is not going to be profitable for people without a religious reason to do so. Also if you start sending men, your neighbors are going to take that as an invitation to screw you over, and invade while your troops are half a world away.Thirdfain wrote:You do realise that we'll band up against you in about 5 minutes flat, right?
Innocent Bystander appears in the Ratification thread as a regional... I'm wondering if there's been some kind of mistake in the OOB thread.Straha wrote:Sheesh, western Europe has three Grand Powers back to back to back... that's going to be pretty

Enough to transport most of your troops, as well as engage some navies. That being said, my Home Guard parasite craft would tear you multiple new ones if you approached(Unlike Rogue last time, I know the value of home-based fighters, and thus declared 20 Regiments worth of my Parasites to permenantly guard my home). I know Storm used 25 Regiments to declare his naval force, he's likely going to be the major naval power. I declared something like thirty towards my air power.Pablo Sanchez wrote:How large a force of effective galleys would 10 regiments buy me?Thirdfain wrote:You should spend regiments on any warships you want to see stand up to a fight. one question, do you have a decent navy?Straha wrote:No, but the righteousness of our cause, and our inevitable destiny do. I'm actually not going to be invading anyone, least of all Iceland. As a peaceful and self-sufficient trading nation I've got no obvious socio-economic causes for conflict. I do, however, want to keep a stranglehold on the western Mediterranean trade routes and the flexibility to engage most other Mediterranean nations if necessary.SirNitram wrote:Enough to transport most of your troops, as well as engage some navies.
