Team: Tau Farsight mercenaries.

Kinda unusual pick, but I do hope there are atleast some radicals of the inquisitors or I'm gonna have a very short participation.

Firewarrior squad:

1. Shas'Ui Kri'San Squad leader. Pulserifle w/ markerlight Hardwired blacksun filter (Improved Nightvision helmet transmitters means the entire squad benefits), Pulse pistol. Bonding knife
Profile: This Newly promoted Shas'Ui has one major inner conflict about the cause he's fighting for. Is he doing the right thing? Should he get away from the farsight enclave. Can he succeed in making something edible out of Orks? The last one is mostly a result of an extended unsupplied campaign against Ork attackers and the hunger got his creativity going overtime.

2. Shas'La Si'kan XO for squad. Pulse carabine. Pulse Pistol. Bonding knife
Profile: A longtime friend of Kri'San Si'Kan is not one to fail a friend (Though he failed his test to rise to Shas'Ui). The question is merely if Loyalty to his superiors overrides the friendship incase there's a conflict. Time might tell.

3. Shas'La Telp'hon. Pulse rifle. Bonding knife

Profile: A soldier considered totally reliable by his superiors. Though his loyalties lie elsewhere than farsight command.

4. Shas'La Cui'sin. Pulse rifle. Bonding knife

Profile: This soldier is fanatic in his loyalty to Farsights ideals. Newly sent into service and is gunning for officerhood. Not considered reliable by Kri'San

5. Shas'La Nia'ga. Pulse carabine. Bonding knife

Profile: Tau Female who had her parents slaughtered by Orks. While overly aggressive she does fight well. However if they are ever faced against Orks in their mercenary assignment her reliability is.... Questionable....

6. Shas'La Ik'ul. Pulse rifle. Bonding knife

Profile: This guy should never have been allowed to complete basic training. Quite simply he's a coward. Breaks easilly. Only scarcity of troops allowed him to make soldier. Kri'San's only hope for Ik'ul is that he doesn't get anyone else killed when he fucks up big time.

7. Shas'la Kal'El. Pulse rifle. Bonding knife

Profile: Overly overblown ego. Despised by most of the rest of the team. His only redeeming trait in their eyes is that he's almost as good as he says.

8. Shas'La Du'Mas. Pulse Carabine. Bonding knife

Profile: Almost fameous for his ability to keep cool under fire. A veteran who somehow failed his trial for promotion, but even so was a major boost for the squad when it was recently formed.

9. Shas'La Kir'Osh. Pulse Rifle. Bonding knife.

Profile: The undeclared morale officer of the team. He is not one to be discouraged about any known danger in the universe.

10: Casuality.

11: Casuality

12: Casuality.

Notes for team: They are trained Orkhunters which means they are on par with most humans for HtH unlike the usually completely outmatched Tau. They are also an independant if small mercenary unit giving them remarkable freedom of action in the field.

Support vehicles:

Orca drop ship.

Non-combatants:

Por'Ui Ni'kuash. Pulse pistol (concealed)

Profile: The negotiator of the team. She has a very well hidden disdain for the fire caste which has held her down in the fire caste dominated farsight enclave. Does know her job well however and makes pretty sure they aren't scammed.

Fio'La Qu'a. Pulse pistol (concealed). tools.

Profile: Need a field engineer? This guy's for you young, but remarkably talented. He keeps the gear running and the squad going. Also has a flair for working with alien technology that is extremely appreciated by his superiors and the reason he's out here on the frontier. Kind of lost in his own world though.

Kor'La Shia'su. Pulse pistol.

Profile: The pilot of the Orca. Recently added and profile not ready yet (Translation: I'm out of ideas after putting this entire team together)

So.... Any radicals out there willing to hire Xeno's to do your dirty work?

*Looks at other people's characters*

Wow. Have I been a bit conservative with firepower?

Edit: Sorry, Rogue 11, but I seem to be all Krooted out. :P

Meh. You are an inquisitor. If the books are to be believed you can call upon enough firepower on short notice to make most other xeno empires look tiny.

Then again with all the inquisition characters they might be thinly streched to supply all of 'em.

Nobody wanted my Kroot Mercs, so I had to create my own Inquisitor to hire them. Now I've got 2 inquisitors an entire Storm Troopers squad and a member of the Adeptus Mechanicus. You might have to do the same.

Rogue 11 It's a true sign of the plague of heresy that's rampant when you're tolerated on the station. Expect not to be liked...

Well, if I wind up needing more man(Tau)power, I'd be willing to provide employment.

Meh just leave enough to identify the corpse. The Shas'Ui drew up immense life insurances on his noncombatants and it would be a shame for her death to be in vain. 8) :P

NPCs So far:
Captain Novdalorin

Captain Novdalorin is a member of one of the ancient officer houses of Hyraphur, but years of boring duty with very little combat has seen her let her prejudices slacken a little. A tall and imposing woman with dark hair and eyes in her mid forties, she cuts quite a figure in the officer’s uniform, and has commanded the star fort in the absence of the higher ranking

Her loyalties are to the Emperor, but the corruption of the system seeps into just about everyone. Certain deviant preaching have also made her rather more tolerant than should be allowed, but at heart, she hates the mutant, alien and heretic as much as the next officer, but external threats from the conspiracy constrain her to keeping the peace as best she can aboard the station

Generally equipped with a power sabre and a naval pistol, as well as a rather fetching naval uniform.

The Magus

He’s a cultist, a big cultist and an in fact an obese cultist. If ever there were any human you’d suspect of worshipping nurgle, this would be him. Even without space marine implants you’d be able to smell this guy before you saw him.

Nitpick, but Pater Novum's just an Interrogator. You want to send mysterious, secret messages to Davik Kruger. :P

Question: Would the armoury of the Starfort contain any jetpacks or similar gear for use in a vacuum?

Oh, and regarding the description provided: would that information be easily accessible, or only apparent to someone who went and had a look?

BTW does anyone like my Eldar name for the planet.

It's nifty.

BTW, Necronlord, I take it that sending the message to Pater Novum stands?

EVA suits with engines are common gear for boarding actions, but they'd be quite secured. Do I even want to know what you want them for?

Aye.

NecronLord, as things have seemed to work out, I'll probably end up generating a few more Officio Assassinorum characters, since no one else seems to want to touch the homicidal bastards.

For added confusion to those in the know, I'd like to suggest Meh'Lindi as an NPC character.

Humm. I'll see if I can't work her into a cameo.

Necron, a few questions to ask about Adraxis:

Has there been heavy fighting all over, in localized areas, or not at all? And is there any major military force currently on the planet?

There was. Several millenia ago. It's mostly rebuilt now. It's a standard hive world. Infamy and scum in the cities. Toxic waste beyond. There has however, been a marked drop in the level of toxins in the atmosphere of late, and no one knows why.

And... are those marines I see?

I would assume, however, there are some cultist insurgents in certain parts of the city?
And yes, they are marines.

This cult is a bit more subtle than that. Most of the citizenry are Emperor Fearing Citizens, Spoiler: the chaos cults aren't the root of the problem here. It just seems that way. They're a symptom of something that goes deeper.

Grr. See. Now I have to raise the bar on the uberness level horribly.

Ah well, I'll just say that the civvie-vehicle refit was drive by one of the insane madmen that abound on the planet. :)
