You suck Stas. :P Since I totally employed mercenary aces on F-22s back during the whole Costas thing, to help our good friend Baerne and all that. :(

What can your DUMB and STOOPID fighter wings and AEW support craft do when the MERCENARY ACES go and fly in formation to TRENCH RUN your ass and enter an oversized exhaust port leading to YOUR personal dacha under a hollowed-out bunkerized mountain range before you can launch your doomsday V2 Maser-Railgun-Shockwave-Gun, huh?!

Time for Bean to lock this thread! :D

No "aces" can stand against the numbers in modern air combat. Top Gun smucks with their Ace Combats will suck Crimson dick if they try. Air-to-air missiles are not infinite and this is not an arcade... hey, that's a good aerial warning, gotta take note.

*laughs* I'm being in a good mood.
Czech started it, giving the ace pilot to the Miratian side even. I was just being sarcastic in retort! :P

Then Shroom had to bring up that GODDAMNED TRAITOR MORON Solo Wing Pixie. Fucker tried to shoot me down out of the blue while my wingman dammit!

On a more serious note, at least I haven't actually sent airlift transports into Empyrean City yet to get stuck and held hostage to negotiations with a fragile, newly-installed regime that can't control its own rank and file. :P

Hey mang I'm here now. :D So lets work out a solution to this crisis.

Pollux mang, you need to ease up before you piss off the wrong people and someone declares war on you. Check your PM's.

By the way, Shroom, Shady,Nolder would you perfer it if I just skipped the diplomatic talks with Shroom in Shroomania and do it in UCSR where I am having that meeting anyway? I dont mind either way, I am just wondering if it would be easier. I could just say that my Prime Minister landed in Shroomania for small scale talks or something/

I think you should visit Shroomania, where you and Shroom can make a public announcement of your intent to join CATO(so we can sooth any fears and accusations  ), after that we can have the meeting in Stasograd, where the final deal can be made.

Also: The Union is about to get heavily involved in the Misterian situation, hopefully to bring about a peaceful resolution to the crisis.

P.S. Stas, that was an awesome parade. :D

Fair enough. Its like a mini diplomatic tour of all the CATO nations. But yeah, I would probably surport this being put into the Wkikia. Call it the Misteria Crisis of something.

You sent just about enough to feel cool I guess. If anyone starts up shit we can take it down. Though the ships wouldn't arrive until some time passes, I believe Misteria while being closer than Frequesue is still pretty far distance-wise.

It would be around a week or more before the ships arrive. Which is two real days from now.

Just enough time to get some diplomacy done.

That nose.....it drills into my soul.

I kind of find it funny that everyone is now flocking to Misteria in some way. It really has become quite an international incident.

I know what you mean. I meant that a fair amount of nations have orginised some surport in some way and its becoming a bit of an incident due to that.

I can't wait to see how the talks go between our leaders. :P

These are the Long Life Extension BUFFs I showed quite awhile ago - sort of a major refurbishment/upgrade package for all the big strategic bombers everywhere (including Shroomtojets, BEARs, etc.). Performance is somewhat better than their original versions, though there's only so much you can do with such an old airframe. (B-52H performance characteristics). They're not really going to be able to easily penetrate a modern air-defense system short of standoff weapons and rolling back enemy IADS, but against a small nation? You'd have to burn through its jamming and then get in position for a shot: not an easy task for a relatively light fighter like a MiG-29.

The Intolerant task force is still evacuating OICAS citizenry by air, from an athletic field behind the Embassy to either the Intolerant itself or the airport, where chartered airliners are waiting.

If Misterian assets attempt to interfere with the evacuation, "coercive measures" will be taken, which may include(but not limited too) air cover provided by the AV-35 component, airstrikes provided by the AV-35/MQ-8B component, missile strikes performed by the Fredericksburg, shelling by the Fredericksburg, sinking of Misterian naval assets by the accompanying SSN(I forget which one it is at the moment), or airstrikes from the Dominion Global Strike Command.

Regardless of the measures ultimately taken, a serious attempt to interfere with the evacuation will result in the Dominion Hawks originally tasked for anti-piracy missions to begin overflights and surveying of potential targets. Pollux, I'm PMing this to you as well, so consider this an official notice.

Especially when they only have one of 'em. :D

So anyway, I'm just gonna do what Cascadia is doing, basically. But being the nice guy that I am, I won't have an armed escort (my AV-35s and AH-1s will stay well offshore, only moving in if the transport helos run into problems). Assuming Misteria (see Steve, I can get it right  ) doesn't do anything dumb, they should be in and out before the UCSR battlegroup even gets there. I'll even forgo reinforcing my embassy Marines.

Though keep in mind if the NDF or anyone tries to overrun it I'll be very upset. I don't think it'll happen, but if it does...well, I'm sure even President Shady will understand my reaction. But I'm confident the UCSR will take all appropriate steps to make sure foreign nationals, and embassies, are kept safe.

Y'know, I was thinking about sending an amphibious taskgroup myself, but I figured it would be bandwagoning...and that you guys would get a good look at a Graf Toth-class LVA or an Il Paso-class LSD, and that just wouldn't be fun for me. ;)

EDIT: That and the fact that Emmeria is neutral in the East/West cold war and is perfectly willing to foster diplomatic relations with the new Misterian government. :3

Despite all the business in Misteria, do we have an agreement for the CFR ready or not? It seemed it was all agreed to, with Cascadia leading the reconstruction effort and all the various factions involved controlling their own sectors. Are negotiations just proceeding in unreal time, or are they dragging on for weeks? If it’s the latter Inhopal would be sending in the paratroopers to get started on things. We don’t want total anarchy to rule for too long and besides, we can't let Tian Xia occupy all the best parts of the country and thus have a disproportionate hand in crafting the peace now could we ?
