I know, but it's this or scuttle them. At if, for some reason, they invasion forces are delayed I can flee with them.

Besides, it would be Galactic War III, not II.

How could you have copied down books in that time? They must be hand copied or the incantations are useless

And.. as I said, they are not on earth, they are in the dreadnought that is near mars.

He could take pictures, and then handwrite the words later, for instance. It's a pretty nebulous thing, anyways.

yeah, but without the originals... he cant copy them. Oh well, he has mages apparantly, and those spellbooks didnt have anything more than a 2nd level spell in them.

So, wait, the magic in the book, which operates independetly of them (other wise you wouldn't be able to cast spells from other's books/scrolls) is told to destroy itself? And then the magic that's in the copied books too? (I figure I've got a half decently cadre of mages from the Skaven Refugees, they buddy up on each book [I'm guessing five books] so I would think I could get most of the books done in a couple hours)

It'll be great when the Ousters buy some off of him. I'll wager with a better knowledge of Arcanist spellcasting techniques, our blackeyes will be able to improve their performance at countering magic significantly.
