You know, VT, you're kinda aggressive over at MF...
As for the trailer, I don't have to see some shit for quality overdubbed Spanish version. I can seriously wait six days to actually see it myself.

Jeezus! I nearly went blind trying to stare at that thing, fucking horrid quality, it's like I haven't even seen this trailer.

MF.com boards, there's a thread on it, just keep clicking on all the links until one works, don't ask me to go digging around for it for you though, the boards are slow as fuck at the moment!

Haha, I'm there now, and it's REALLY slow. Like Southern Social Progress slow.

A slightly better version with audio taken from an American screening is now posted there.

I like bothering n00bs and people from TFN. Often they´re one and the same.
Posting this here, since it´s more or less directly tied in with Ep. III:
With Volume II, the episodes are much longer in length -- 12 minutes each. The new series will air daily starting on March 21st. The night it airs on Cartoon Network, it will appear on starwars.com Hyperspace for download. A smaller version of it will appear the next day in the Clone Wars section of starwars.com, available to all viewers for a limited time.
The five episodes of Star Wars: Clone Wars Volume II picks up right where Volume I left off -- with a team of Jedi trapped in a wrecked starship on Hypori, being hunted maliciously by General Grievous. As the series progresses, it jumps forward in time, to see Anakin Skywalker as a heroic Jedi Knight, fighting alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi on different battlefronts of the Clone Wars.
The legendary pair is assigned to the distant Outer Rim world of Koobi to root out Separatist activity. Instead, they find a tribal culture steeped in ancient traditions, and Anakin must pass a dangerous trial to survive.
Elsewhere, the action explodes on Coruscant as General Grievous leads a lightning strike on the capital word to capture Chancellor Palpatine, and the Jedi rush to intercept. This story arc serves as the lead-in to Episode III -- where Star Wars: Clone Wars ends, Revenge of the Sith begins.
A nice pic of my former avatar facing General Grievous accompanies the article on the OS.

Okay, I bit Fruit Stripe Gum and downloaded both versions so far of the trailer (the silent AVI and the enhanced Quicktime file with the leaked audio added, which people are affectionately calling "Aunt Peru").
So far this is simultaniously the most awesome yet totally bogus moment in my following Episode III spoilers. The quality is pure shit, dark and murky even with contrast maxed out (brightness just made everything lighter): for almost the entire thing about 50-75% of the frame is filled with nothing but darkness. The original Spanish audio is virtually non-existant, so the English additions leap out and then disappears. It's just crap, and I now really can frankly wait another six days, or at least until a better quality leak arrives.
Although I also must admit that as a pure film buff, it's kind of cool. Because of it's lack of quality (particularly the silent one) it's got this almost ethereal ghostly feel to it...

How do you take snapshots with Quicktime? Some frames I want to look at more closely, you know, for torture until the real deal comes along.
EDIT: the more I watch this thing, the more "fuzzy UFO-video"-feel I get over it. I mean, there´s a shot of a Juggernaut shooting missiles into the air, and all you see is a big blocky thing with the outline of a wheel to the right and a white line of mist coming from the front of the block. It´s ridiculous, yet I can´t stop watching.

Yeah exactly, kind of like a UFO video, but also a little more than that.
I mean, just at the level of pure cinema and image, it's almost beautiful. It's like some 1920s or 30s avant-garde project...

And then the movie gets released, and we all see that the trailer is a completely accurate rendition...

Well, only in the cinemas too fucking cheap to buy projector bulbs so they keep them at like fifty percent brightness (which doesn't extend the life, ironically)...

VT, I know this is going to sound weird, but I think if you shrink those down a little (like about 50-75%) I think it could make it easier to actually see what they are.

....Damn. Those are some seriously shitty pics.... (no offense, VT). Still, from what i can make out, it does look right good...

Yeah, that's exactly what the trailer footage is like.
Actually no. That's what the footage is like half of the time. The other half is complete darkness.

After the attack on the Temple, Obi-Wan and Yoda enter the Temple disguised. Amazed at the carnage, Obi-Wan wants to see for himself the damage Anakin has inflicted.
He finds the holoscan recording. Obi-Wan staring, cannot believe what he sees and hears.
In front of him he sees Anakin bow before the Sith Lord.
"The traitors have been destroyed, Lord Sidious. And the archives are secured. Our ancient holocrons are again in the hands of The Sith," says Vader.
"Good... good. Together, we shall master every secret of The Force," says the Sith Master. "You have done well my new apprentice, do you feel your power growing?"
"Yes, my Master."
"Lord Vader, your skills are unmatched by any Sith before you. Go forth, my boy. Go forth and bring peace to our Empire."
Kenobi shuts down the holoscan, then collapses on the floor in agony.
Oh hell yes! Holocrons (props of both Jedi and Sith holocrons were made for Episode II and not used ...)

I don't think so- I mean, the "thanks" section of the E2VD has Reynolds thanking a guy for the photography work he did on the apparently really hard to photograph holocrons (too big or something? Can't remember, I'm not at home to check)- if they were just made for the E2VD, you'd think they'd be made with ease of photography in mind.
Im also pretty sure I heard that there were supposed to be holocrons somewhere in e2 but they were cut ...

People are being negative and saying that line is just in the novelization (which I believe Ternian has gotten hold of). But they were made by the film crew nevertheless, so there might be a reference such as this. Sounded hella cool.

In other news, MF.com seems to be under invasion by moronic fucks from TFN because some cockbite over there said that MF had the leaked trailer.
Also, I don't think I've ever seen so many dimwits cry "GIMME!!" and keep asking for a new version of something so awful in quality.

As long as it's in "the canon list", I'm happy.
Anyway, from the Acknowledgements in the AOTC VD:
Master photographer Alex Ivanov, who captured the beautiful image of the "unshootable" 90-facet Great Holocron ... ILM master modelmakers Don Bies and John Goodson, for the precision-crafted Holocrons and the clone trooper rifle cutaway
That would seem to indicate that the modelmakers did it for the AOTC VD after all- though I'm certain I heard something about holocrons being made for Episode II and not making it in ...
