We're no longer building 3rd generation aircraft, but Ralson Aerospace offers the "fourth and half generation" Rafale for $55-60 million a piece. You're an ally though, and if you buy that many of them I could probably drop the price, so let's say $5 billion for the lot of them.
50 3rd generation Interceptors
San Dorado has a bunch of spare Mirage 2000-5 that I've replaced with other aircraft sitting around, they're not dedicated interceptors but if you buy those Rafales as well I'll make you a deal: $6 billion for 100 Rafales and 50 Mirages, plus parts and training.

As for the tac bombers, I've got the F-111 (in both the F and XL packages) on sale; it's not exactly 3rd generation though (particularly not the XL, with its AESA radar and F-22 engines) and not very cheap either. It is a very nice plane though ;).

Shroomania offers enhanced versions of the F-16XL and the F-15 ACTIVE, enhancing these 3rd generation craft to state-of-the-art 4.5 generation standards. The F-16XL is a favorite, since its HUEG wing-size makes it AWESOME for carrying lots of stuff to kill people with. They are capable of supercruise, too. Reduced cross section, new and advanced avionics, radars, capacity to carry all sorts of missiles, new and improved cockpit designs, all the works.

They're similarly priced as Siege's planes, and they do get cheaper if you order moar.

We can also sell you the services of mercenary aces if you want!

Um, Shroom? F-16 and F-15s are both 4th Gen. :P

And F-15 ACTIVE is a test vehicle IIRC, the most modern version of the F-15 are the ones built for South Korea and Singapore (known as the F-15K and F-15SG).

Hmm...how is it possible to give the F-16 a huge unified wing and reduce its radar cross-section? :D

Alright, I like it. 6Bn for them all sounds good.

~5Bn for 50 F-16XLs? I think I'll pass on the fancy XLs or Actives.

I will buy 10 of the AWAC Stratellites and 5 or 6 of the civillian telecommunications stratellites.

Hmm.. seems BAM's AWAC stratellites is proving to be a well-sought after product. *counts the registers*

I think everyone who built 3rd gen fighters have destroyed the tooling by now. If you wanted to buy, say, 200 F-14s or F-15s, I could accommodate your order.

Alternatively, I could pulls some older aircraft out of AMARC. Admittedly, they'd have hours on them, but they'd be cheaper than new planes.

5 billion will net you, like, a hundred and twenty F-16XLs. More, even! A hundred fifty? If Langley's previous purchase is any indication. They get cheaper if you buy moar of them!

So I launched a new budget airline and ordered some BAM aircraft. I might write up something for the main airline, but that can wait. :)

Also, I encourage people to take more than 6 hours to decide which country to buy stuff from. Doing so can keep some people from even bidding on the contract since it'll be started and decided between when people log on.

Yes! A sale! :)

Roughly $70 million a piece. For $95 million a piece though you get the F-111XL, which is vastly more capable.

How much would it cost to upgrade existing F-111s to XL standard?

Uh, I'd estimate some $40-50 million per aircraft, depending on how many of them you want refitted. Depending on what standard your F-111 are when they get refitted: if they're older than the F version, the refit will probably be slightly more expensive.

Actually, I decided to go with a national design (All these purchases with no Gizmonic payments would piss off my major arms supplier), Do you have any facilities with the ability to fabricate Panavia Tornado IDS parts?

Also, my second standard would be done by now, right?

No, unfortunately not. We'd be willing to lease designs of the F-111F to Gizmonic though, so you could manufacture them yourself. (We unfortunately won't be able to lease you the specs on the F-111XL, the tech involved is kind of sensitive, and often in turn bought off other nations who will frown on us leasing you the designs.)

Yeah, definitely, the next batch of Standards (and probably the third as well) ought to be done by now.

That would work, for how much?

Actually, on second thought, I think I'll be retiring my F-111s and selling them off in favor of additional F-16XLs.

Is it a good time to schedule the F-1/Le Mans race come .. the start of this month? I know it's late, but I forgot all about it in the midst of work and what not.

Again the schedule is as follows:

1. Byzantium
2. USSR
3. PeZookia
4. Shroomania
5. Tian Xia (Anyone else in Messmerica?)
6. Kingdom of Mangka
7. San Dorado
8. Kingdom of Vineyards
9. Zoria.

Any words of protest?

Eh, I was gonna do stuff with my IC self's visit to the Old Continent, but aside from Shep's post about the covert anti-slavery group I've had no offers of interaction nor have I sent any because, heh, I've been a bit burnt out lately on writing anyway.

But if Shroom, Fingolfin, Stas, PeZook, Coyote, or Shady want to do a post with me, or just a general news post about the state visit, I'll shake off the burnout to help write it. :)

I'm pretty tireds myself. I can't even get about to posting shit about the FUN Forum. :(

Goddamn nursing! I may have contracted some kind of HIDEOUS DISEASE. Shroomthrax!

And no, bog-standard F-16s and F15s are third generation, Steve. Or what's what wiki would say. The latest variants are 4.5 generation.

EDIT:

Fuck! If Steve is in the OC and I'm at the Sirnoth Shindig FUN Forum Five...

UNREAL TIME!!!

I figured flexible time would come into effect for any such posts. Especially as the tour was only supposed to last two weeks or so and began a couple nights ago IRL, therefore in game time I've already returned home.

Given Stasograd came first so I could attend the meeting of the Anti-Slavery Cabal with Stas, Shep, and Lonestar, I'll likely work my way south then west. Probably Stasograd --> Constantinople --> Sarajevo --> Orena --> Neve Tikvah --> Farbanti.

The state visit is a family one in part, with my wife Sophia, 22 year old son Thomas, and 11 year old daughter Deirdre along. And no, they're all fictional.
