The USN was not know for conquest on the level the Hajr are.Yeah, but they didn't scramble their navies and take up positions to defend against their shores against the USN.
Get your fill of sci-fi, science, and mockery of stupid ideas

You're the one who picked the goddamn analogy. Why didn't you use this excuse instead of referring back to 9/11 in the first place?frigidmagi wrote:The USN was not know for conquest on the level the Hajr are.
Okay, so how do I know how much game time has past? just look at when I made my posts, see what actions happened since and guesstimate?Pablo Sanchez wrote: Six game months for large capital vessels (BB, DN)
Three game months for small capital vessels (CA, DD)
[if, for example, you're only building a single DN and you have shipbuilding to simultaneously construct ten, then you can be assumed to be devoting extra resources to that vessel and would be justified in shooting it out in a smidgen less time]
And you can mobilize 400,000 men pretty much at will. That isn't very many soldiers.
ARE YOU MAD MAN!?! DON'T YOU REALISE THIS MEANS THAT ALL THE INVESTIGATION POSTS WILL BE PAGES LONG, FILLED WITH EVERY LAST DETAIL, AND ALSO INCLUSIVE OF ILLUSTRATIONS?!?!From: United Protectrates
To: Hajr
We would to see a 3rd party investgation, has well has having all the evidence turned over to a neutral 3rd party. We would prefer the Veithans for this.
I agree. The Vampires are easily the most knowledgable about both dead people and how to make them dead. Matter of experience, really.Straha wrote:ARE YOU MAD MAN!?! NO! Give it to someone else, someone known for his tact, someone without any ties, give it to.... the VAMPIRES!
Like rogue said, I mentioned putting down a rebellion in my OOB and also mentioned in the game thread, albeit very briefly. I can see why you missed it. I don't think it would have too big an impact on ship building, cause a little civil unrest that was sorted out in a few months shouldn't effect large space institutions.Thirdfain wrote:The game is 8 months, almost 9 months, old, but just as Stormbringer supplied a reason for your being incommunicado, you will need to do the same. Whatever caused you to be silent on all channels needs to be addressed in-game, andd will likely have had some effect on your shipbuilding.
I declared ship-building just during the tortuga mess, so its been about a month. no ships for meAs for the time since your posts, well, go check the History thread in the information links sticky. It includes most major events and the months they took place in. You can then find events which happened at the same time you made your declaration, and find out how much time has elapsed since.
Ouch! sheesh man, you are hurting my feelings.Straha wrote:ARE YOU MAD MAN!?! DON'T YOU REALISE THIS MEANS THAT ALL THE INVESTIGATION POSTS WILL BE PAGES LONG, FILLED WITH EVERY LAST DETAIL, AND ALSO INCLUSIVE OF ILLUSTRATIONS?!?!From: United Protectrates

I am not upset, if anything I was a little embarassed.frigidmagi wrote:We're joking man, relax.
What are you implying, son?frigidmagi wrote:I ain't giving shit to the vampires, who are known to have close ties to the Hajr, granted I have no clue why that is, none, zero.
Why oh why are they friends???? Geee...
Well, if I'm in the mood, I can write quite extensively, as wellfrigidmagi wrote:We're joking man, relax.
Sorry, didn't mean to upset you. Just trying to introduce some humour over here (hence the use of prolific caps.)Marcao wrote:Well, if my posts trully bother enough people I would not wish to do it in the first place. No, you'd think that one of our allies was just threatened with destruction. Like actually happened. Come on, if someone were to threaten Great Britain with imminent destruction, do you really think NATO wouldn't stand on high alert?SirNitram wrote:You know, is it just me, or is going 'Uh.. Something horrible happened to someone.. They're about to start a war.. I think I'll go to high alert, even if it's not with me.' is ridiculously guilty-acting in this sort of event?
