Grand Ball
After having a taste of the Italian cuisine, which Drealaan found to be simply exquisite he made his way into the dinning hall.
Then came the
announcement, war; that didn’t sit right with Drealaan, or perhaps it was the Swedish meatballs, either way, he was less than pleased. Several minutes passed and he saw a man exit the Dinning Hall; he recognized him from a photo the Homeworld Senate had sent him, it was President Major of the Nashtar Republic. Drealaan considered his options for as he scoffed down yet another plate of food, but finally got up and headed towards the exit, he could see President Major speaking one of the guards just past the door. He waited until the president had finished whatever it was he was doing and reentered the palace.
“President Major?” it was clear that Drealaan had been waiting for him, “I am Senator Tacer Drealaan of the Baeloaren Commonwealth.” he shook the somewhat startled president’s hand before continuing, “My government has requested I speak with you and some of your cabinet while your Earth, I understand you probably want to get back to the dinning room, I know I do, would you be willing to meet me later this evening after the party disperses for the night or tomorrow morning?”

President Major had been observing the proceedings in silence. Now he thought he'd seen enough. He walked out of the room and up to the sergeant in charge of the small Marine detachment waiting outside. "Sergeant, I need your transmitter to communicate with the Sabre. Set encryption."
"Yes, sir." The sergeant handed over his radio after setting for Fleet and dialing in an encryption protocol. "Sabre, this is President Major. Things aren't looking too good diplomatically speaking down here. What's your status?"
"Sir, this is Captain Moriarty. We've been put on alert status by Command; apparently there is a major engagement between the Goa'ould and the Hajr over Camaro. The Goa'ould are apparently attempting to expand their territory."
"Damn. Relay to Republic Space Command and the government: I am ordering the Third and Sixth Fleets to take any steps necessary to contain the Goa'ould. They are not to undertake offensive operations at this time. Do you copy?"
"Copy, sir. What do we do?"
"We stay here, Captain. There's still the diplomatic conference tomorrow. I'm going back into the ball to see if I can talk things over, but until then, stay on alert. Do not open fire on anything unless it shoots at you or bombards the planet first; we have to honor the Peace of Terra. Out."

Grand Ball
The recent collection of events was almost enough to make Jon’s head spin. Declarations of war, open debauchery, shouting, new dignitaries entering, each one seeming to want to make the previous look like a piker, and on top of all that, complications with the Veithans. When the Magdalena took a moment to introduce the Crown Prince of the Grand Empire to him, Jon was taken aback for a moment. He knew there would be important people here, but a Crown Prince…the whole concept still seemed odd, and what little information he had on the Grand Empire was even more curious. Still, he nodded respectfully to the Crown Prince.
“Indeed, it is a pleasure we both share,” as he was about to say more, the new party entered the ballroom, gathering numerous looks from the denizens of the ball. A small smile nearly cracked on to his lips as the Crown Prince’s comment reached his ears, and he thought of what other things others he knew might say if given the opportunity.
“It has always been my opinion that style, true style, comes about from substance. Without the foundation of something of substance, unsupported attempts at style wash away at the first sign of change. There is little more stylish, then, to me, than what is most ultimately functional. Of course, just try to tell that to a marketing division,” Jon winked at the Crown Prince, a small smile played briefly on his face as he finished.

The fleets jumped out.

New Basra
Capital City, Camaro
The city burned. The initial EMP strike had caused brownouts across the continent, and many of the local Jaffa military bases had been neutralized bloodlessly as their equipment ceased working- but the follow-up attack, carried out with lethal lasers and kincaid missiles, had started fires across the city. Huge craters gaped around the city's industrial section, where the largest garrisons had been targetted by Hajr bunker-busters. The sky was full of contrails, nearly black with smoke, and brilliantly lit by the flashes of orbital gunfire. Swarms of fighters wheeled overhead, dogfighting with Jaffa death-gliders, or swooping to support the masses of dark, armored figures pressing out from the landing zones.
Bondwoman Private Frija su Candaris stumbled behind cover. Her unit was tasked with taking the shielded anti-orbit gun turrets set just outside the city. The weapons couldn't be silenced with orbital fire without destroying the city as well, so General Sara su Kynisnet had labelled the site as a major target for the initial shock-attack. The Marines were fighting across a two-mile strech of scrubland, dotted with camoflaged Jaffa gun-pits- a place as close to hell as Frija had ever been. Blast-lance bolts reached out, cutting down those soldiers who couldn't make cover fast enough, adding the screams of the dying to the battlefield's grim symphony.
Frija kept her head down as explosions rippled across the street- a fast-moving craft was strafing their position. << DEATH GLIDER! Frija, down it.>> Reacting wiith machinelike efficiency, she reached for the disposable launcher strapped to her combat-brother Welsh's back. Aiming down the stubby tube, she shouted. "Load!" He slammed a round into the base of the weapon. Sighting carefully, she painted the swooping craft with a laser. With a roar like an angry beast, the antiaitcraft missile leapt from the tube, it's miniature Kincaid drive slamming it into the craft at near-C velocities, turning the craft almost instantly into an expanding cloud of debris.
A noise like two hands tearing the world's largest peice of cloth filled Frija's world, right through the armor plating of her helmet. A swarm of contrails blasted through the air above her- Nashtar strike craft. The noise of their engines was then spectacularly drowned out by the explosions as their fire lashed out, turning the hull-down Jaffa vehicles into burning pits of twisted metal and torn flesh.
<< 3rd Assault Company, GO! Take the position! 4th, provide covering fire.>>
Frija's power-assist armored legs propelled her out from behind the ridge. Around her, her combat-brothers and sisters charged, moving from cover to cover. The surviving Jaffa opened fire at the exposed Ouster soldiers. A dozen men and women were cut down, but the second the Jaffa revealed their positions, snipers and crew-served weapons in the hands of the 4th reached out with storms of explosive flechettes or plasma blasts. The chain-mail armor worn by the Jaffa soldiers provided little protection. Frija stormed over the lip of a camoflaged foxhole, her booted foot crushing the skull of a dismembered Jaffa soldier. She barely had time to react as a staff whisked towards her head- with a fluid motion, she dodged the blow, and fired her rifle into the surviving Jaffa soldier at point-blank. Blood spattered her facemask as the explosive flechettes turned his chest into a gaping red pit.
<<2cnd Squad reports, defenses are breached! The guns are ours!>>
Frija clambered out of the foxhole. Objective secure, thank the sweet void mother- now anotehr hundred to go.

Deep Space
The Fleet of transports moved slowly through space. They were loaded with men, equipment, ammunition, vehicles, fighters, and every last thing that would be needed for a landing. The fleet was massive, it made the fleet at Camaro look positively diminutive by comparision, and soon it would reach its goal. After some other nations had cleared space for it to come through of course.

The Hajr forces fighting to seize a minor city to the south of Camero's capital were outnumbered and outgunned. The Krynor bunkers were pouring fire into their positions and pinning them down. Just then, the Hajr soldiers looked up and saw the Triangle shapes of KSN Blade class assault fighters descending into the atmosphere. Ahead of them the bunkers exploded with great force, the way was clear.

The small destroyer eased it's self into a spiraling decent to the planet surface, then slowed it's self upon entry into the atmosphear. The tiny craft eventually came to a gentle stop on the landing pad still hovering about 5 flukes above the ground. There was a soft popping noise and the ambasidor appeard below the ship flanked by two guards holding cylindrical weapons that were attached to their throats by a flexable tube. The ambasidor looked as though it was a crude imitation of a human dressed in very light weight clothing without shoes, it could have been either a very handsome Female or perhaps a pritty male.

"Progress?" Basil raised his eyebrows, "I have heard the word, and I have watched the march of technology. But I have seen little progress. All the people that will die in your conflict will ascend not at all. No, the one word which our power most recalls is 'malaise.' It was interesting speaking to you, and we may meet again. Farewell."
Basil decided that he was tired of the party, and he collected his retainers to leave early. Come late, leave early, apologize to the host. It was important to remember the social niceties.

Uninhabited System, Krynor Border
The massive, 15-kilometer bulk of the Fleet Tender Glorious Return dropped out of Kincaid-drive. Around her, the mass of sleek black death that was the 3rd War Cluster deccelerated, falling into a defensive formation around the mothership. On board the Return, and her swarm of troop transports, two million Marines prepared for the serious business of an assault against a heavily fortified planet. Death tolls would be high- unless the Monacorans performed as well as reports said they would. Never the less, spirits were high- the 3rd War Cluster's successful campaigns in Jardanian and Covenant space had given the spacers and soldiers on board the grim polish of experienced fighters.
Now, they would wait for the Monacorans and Krell before striking at the Krynor system of Sparta.

Silently the Massive fleet approached. More ships joined what looked like a massive parking lot of ships from all directions. And there were more transports coming and coming and coming. This was a true Monacoran armada, not one to be denied victory.

Vivel-4
(Seeing as I am to be cheated once again out of a fleet battle... I will simply post the end results. These take a while to accomplish of course.)
The Arcane Empires war could only be described as Blitzkrieg. Majority of the Goa'Uld fleets being en route to the Camaro system at the time had only left a small fleet of picket ships around their primary systems.
By the time the massive Arcane fleet had arrived, it was to late for the fleets to return.
The Line of Battle sat outside their own effective targeting range and simply lobbed kinetic weapons at the shields and defenses until they caved in. Then the ships moved closer and commenced direct orbital bombardment of military fascilities. Completely destroying every supply base, factory, or military structure on planet.
Defensive positions were wiped out by destroyers and attack craft, as well as swarms of fighters. When the troops landed, there wasnt much of anything left to resist them. Everything with a symbiote(save any To'Kra who live mutualistically with their hosts) was rounded up, the symbiote removed via spells, and the host released, their minds free.
They would be set up on one of the less destroyed worlds after deprogramming(which wouldnt take long, we are gods to them)
The symbiotes themselves were not as lucky. The ones in giovernmental positions, those who commanded the atrocities commited by the Goa'Uld, were crated up, and given as a twisted gift to the populace of the Empires whos lives and loved ones they had harmed. Needless to say, their deaths were hideously painful, and the very creative deaths were guarded by troops, just to make sure the condemned couldnt try anything funny
The Jaffa... their symbiotes were remobved, and.. well, that is a suprize for a later post. Suffice to say they taste good with sauce.
This process was repeated on

With that the Monacoran Transports began a somewhat faster advance towards Sparta.

We speak of the former mostly and of the latter also. The parasites had intruded on our various merchants in space which is not appreciated. Whatever, became of them? The Goa'Uld delegates to the Ball were rushing our of earth space, their cargo ship jumping into places unknown. They knew whern they were not welcome somewhere... However, unknown to them, Artimus was chasing them.
"They are sooo screwed" he thought to himself. As he hurled through the astral plane to his waiting Attack Craft.
He hopped in, took command, and went into persiut. It was so much faster than that cargoship it scared him.
He overtook them within moments, just outside Monocan space
He used an interdiction spell to Pull them forcably out of hyperspace.
he dropped out of Astral Travel and his ship opened fire.
No cargoship dtood much of a chance against a military vessel and its shields quickly dropped. He teleported aboard and buchered the Jaffa guards like cattle. Their blood would forever stain the wreckjage in space that would soon be their ship.
He bodily grabbed the delegates by the scruff of their necks. If they didnt have a scruff, he created one. He lifted them using psionics and his own natural strength and slammed them agaisnt the walls of their ship.
"You are coming with me back to my homeworld. Consider yourselves my guests" he said to them. jar'Dalath(or whatever his name was) Nut, and the other one, were all his prisoners in one fell swoop.
He boarded his ship, prisoners in tow, and vaporized the cargoship.
Then jumped back to Astral Plane en-route to Aber-Toril.

The ambasador rased a hand and there was another popping noise and a human in a sorry physical state bound to a hover chair with tubes going in and out his mouth and throat appeared. his head was shaved and there were multiple scars down the back of his head and neck.
"We appologise that we could not save his comrads but we were able to remove the forigen boddie that had wrapped arround his spine and he is still able to communicate."

The signal from the Ousters to move forward was received, and Leego Diama gave the order. A quick hyperspace jump later the Krell fleet arrived at Sparta. Little ship-to-ship resistance was expected, as the Krynor fleet was supposed to be in transit to Camero. Nonetheless, the fleet took a tight defensive formation and prepared for hostile contact.
