For one, we have a higher networth, both total and average. Our organization is excellent, and we grow at a very nice pace. Most of the other clan members can't do anything to let you in, which is why they probably didn't volunteer information.
Our leader didn't get annihilated, he never grew to begin with. It doesn't take much to bring down somebody with only 1k sq acres of land. I believe he stopped playing due to his personal life or something... However, the rest of the members are all very active

Well, Black Mesa is also a smaller clan, so it's natural that we'd have a lower total NW. As to organization, I'd have to laugh at SDnet. Black Mesa has a higher clan point total, which is still growing. The average NW while lower, isn't very much so, and that's partial due to the fact that one of our members was killed.

I thought I might as well particapate in this recruitment drive.
I have been in the SDNet clan for a while now, and in my opinion we're one of the better clans on Nukezone. We have faced some of the toughest clans and survived, includiong the clan "Too Good to be True" who had the highest amount of clan points on Nukezone when we faced them.
We've had a member in our clan who made it to #14 on the top players (Networth) list. Not many clans can boast that.
Plus, wouldn't it be better to be in a larger clan, than some little puny (:D) one?

--Well I'm still leaning toward joining Black Mesa, but that may change when I get up tomorrow. BTW why isn't Darth Wong dropping by once in a while for "troop morale"? What kind of Sith Lord is that?
-At any rate, let me tell you what you are "competing" for. Currently, I have $1k, and 14 turns. I took the $125k bonus. So where did everything go you ask? Well, I also have 150 labs, 16 reg. power plants, 17 adv. pwr. plants, and 1 barracks. In addition, I have 306 points in money production ($4336 / hour).
-I should have over 100 turns and over $160k credits to burn on military before my nuke protection ends.
-I have also generated a cost/benefit chart for military units. However, without knowing how battles are determined it is only of so much value.
Well then, let me get rid of one of your fears about joining SDNet; as of 13 minutes ago, there was a change of leadership in the SDnet clan. Exonerate (Whoeveritwasitwasntme) is now our CL.

SDNet got killed to the last member in Round 6.
[Nelson laugh] Ha-HA! [/Nelson laugh]
We were outnumbered. The enemy had a higher total networth and a higher average networth. If we declared peace we would not have been killed, but since the end of the round was near, we decided to stick it out.
We didn't expect anything else.

But our average NW is still higher. You have more clan points because you war more... In a war, we'd tear you to shreds
One of your members were killed? I think like 3 of ours did, yet our NW is still higher, even including our inactive leader at 1k NW.
Yeah, we didn't peace at the end because it was end of age... Not really much of a point.
You're not getting it. Your average is skewed because of the higher amount of members. To be completely objective, you'd need a weighted average, which NZ doesn't provide.
--Okay, I've decided to ask for membership in SDNet. Both clans seem to be online quite a lot (now that Dark is gone) and have a high level of skill. However, there is something really cool about fighting to the last man.
-Beowulf and Crayz9000 thanks for all the advice on getting started.
Being a nuker is extremely consuming in turns, which I need to build my sea units which are also highly consuming in turns. I guess I'll just leave nuking to others and use my turns on my navy.
Doing so will also allow me to send aid to Smi.

This is insane. Some idiots from another clan have been harassing me, apparently they want me to declare war on them, which there is about a snowball's chance in hell of.
And the thing is that I can't retaliate with potshots, since I don't know where the nukes are coming from.
