That's probably only for Stormie officers and Imperial Army troops, not Navy.

EDIT: Nevermind. I've managed to get all the pics.

This VD looks awesome, I just got all the pics as well (or saw them, I'll have to wait till I get home to get them)- the Clonetrooper section looks very extensive and impressive.

Oh, and it's confirmed- the Clonetroopers with the "skirt" are ARC Troopers. Yes gentlemen, ARC Troopers are now canon. Republic Commandos (ie. from the game) are also pictured, but I don't think they're in the film.

It looks like they're doing a lot better job of keeping the continuity under control for EU materials this time around. No more 'married Jedi'-type gaffes, from comparing the spoilers to the published material.

That is making for what looks to be a very pleasantly seamless transition from the EU to this installment.

One can expect even more EU material in the ROTS novelization, if the exerpt revealed is any indication (refernces to fallen Jedi, Holonet, etc). They should've used the better EU authors for the PT novelizations at the start.

I saw the VD pictures. It looks like the three-legged walker is actually a very heavily armed two-legged one.

No, it´s three-legged in the film. Notice how the right leg has different joints than the left? The third leg is most likely behind the second on the photo.

Even if the constant anti-cyborg/technology agenda pushed here pisses me off, I liked it better when it was simply so that Luke suited the emperors purposes better than Vader.

ARGH! I HATE YOU YOU HYPERSPACE SUBSCRIBING TWERP!

Oh, wait, exerpt, singular.

It says it has an "adjustable leg suspension system," which suggests it can travel on two legs rather than three.

Also interesting (besides its questionable name) it's labeled a Scout.

are we at any risk of some horribly painful and convulated plot device making Darth Sidious and Palpatine different people?
:?

With the new trailer, I don't think there's a remote possibility of this.

Not to say that there ever was, but now we can be absolutely sure.

SW fans that are morons. There's a lot more of them than you'd think and some of the theories I've heard are so stupid they blow my mind. There was a guy who actually thought that drug dealer that tries to con Obi-Wan in AOTC was Han Solo. And no, I'm not joking.

After TPM, faith in Lucas ebbed to an all-time low. I mused over the idea myself, precisely because it seemed like the sort of painfully convoluted 'twist' that might be inserted into the story.

Yeah that's pretty much it, although not so negative. People were desperately trying to find out what the great 'twist' ala TESB would be with this trilogy.

I don't think there is a twist to the PT on the scale of ESB. If there is, it might be something like "Palpatine is Anakin's Father" but that's very contrived.

That said, I'd really like an end to the immaculate conception plot development that TPM showed us.

Not gonna happen, since it´s basically underlying the rest of the films now, with the whole "failed messiah" and "prophesy fullfilled at the end"-bit. Not the most important aspect, but it is there.

AMIDALA:
I am no happier than the rest of you about this, but I've known Palpatine for years; he was my most trusted adviser. I'm not prepared to believe his intent is to dismantle the Senate.

MON MOTHMA:
Why should he bother? As a practical matter as of this morning, the Senate no longer exists.

YODA:
My failure, this was. Failed the Jedi, I did.

YODA:
A moment, Master Kenobi. In your solitude on Tatooine, training I have for you. I and my new Master.

OBI-WAN:
Your new Master?

YODA:
Yes. And your old one.

MON MOTHMA:
All right. Then Terr Taneel would be my next choice and I think, Amidala of Naboo.

BAIL ORGANA:
Padme? I am not sure.

MON MOTHMA:
You know her better than I do, Bail, but to my mind she is exactly the type of Senator we need. She is intelligent, principled, extremely articulate, and she has the heart of a warrior.

BAIL ORGANA:
She is also a longtime associate of Palpatine. He was her ambassador during her term as Queen of Naboo. How sure can you be that she will stand with us, and not with him?

MON MOTHMA:
There's only one way to find out.

SHU MAI:
We were promised a reward, a handsome reward!

VADER:
I am your reward... You don't find me handsome?

VADER beheads SHU MAI.

SAN HILL:
Welcome, Lord Vader! On behalf of the leadership of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, let me be the first to...

VADER:
Very well. You will be the first.

VADER removes his hood and ignites his saber.

SAN HILL:
You're Anakin Skywalker!

VADER digs his saber into the chest of SAN HILL.

VADER:
The resemblance is deceptive.

RUNE HAAKO:
Stop! Enough! We surrender, do you understand? You can't just kill us!

VADER:
Can't I?

RUNE HAAKO:
We're unarmed! We surrender! Please please, you're a Jedi!

VADER:
You fought a war to destroy The Jedi.

VADER slashes RUNE HAAKO.

VADER (cont.):
Congratulations on your success.

WAT TAMBOR:
Please, I'll give you anything... Anything you want!

VADER slashes off the arms of WAT TAMBOR, followed by his head...

VADER:
Thank you.
and
Intercut with the proclamation of The Empire, Obi-Wan and Yoda's arrival at The Jedi Temple, is the death of the separatist leaders. The last one to be killed is the greedy Viceroy of the Trade Federation, Nute Gunray.

Standing in an alcove with tears running down his face, he whimpers:

NUTE GUNRAY:
The war... The war is over... Lord Sidious promised... He promised we would be left in peace.

VADER lifts his blade.

VADER:
He promised you would be left in pieces.
Nute Gunray gets it last eh? Appropriate.

It's funny how could put both Vader and Anakin in the line to Shu Mai.
