This puts a crimp in my plans too. I was going to get him in a shooting war with the Sixth, then join in to take the credit and property rights. Oh well. ;)

Except, if the shooting war with the sixth, that means ERTC war, that means your dead. Period, Fullstop, whatever you want to call it :P

Geez, I'm caught in a Machiavellian hell-hole. Wonderful.
According to wikipedia, "the Mohorovičić discontinuity is the boundary between the Earth's crust and the mantle."
According to Starbound, it's a problem solvable with enough combat drugs to turn you into the Incredible Hulk.

Careful now, someone will look at you and plot :P

Is it just me, or is the STGOD getting FAR harder to track? There are what? 5-6 sub plots going around?

Considering my empire has the strategic worth of a banana, I think anyone plotting over it is probably missing out on bigger things going around.

You people really make this far too easy for Thirdfain. I mean, he doesn't even have to go through motions of turning the ERTC into his patsy recruiting front, you're more than willing to do it for him.

Pfft. It's not like /I/ would be caught starting it between the two. I'd be more of gesturing for him to take a crack at the Sixth, and then watch in glee as the ERTC jumps in.

It doesn't just benefit Thirdfain. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got an ambassador to meet, a fleet to dispatch, and a few systems to conquer.

I would have thought that the previous few games would have established the Thirdfain was clever and enjoyed manipulating people (especially you) but I guess not :)

He was on the other side then. I'm not going to go and oppose him this time out. :P Well, unless he goes really evil on me or something.

Oh, and last time he wasn't manipulating me. He manipulated Monacora and assorted idiots and hangers-on thereof. I just got steamrolled.

I personally try to not meddle around with Thirdfain. It's far safer :P

Anyway, is there a new map around? I'd like to see where the new players are around... Might want to come, eh, say hello :)

Gentlemen, Gentlemen, please! The ERTC is a democratic organization decoted to spreading trade and order on the Easten Rim and taming the wilds of the Great Waste for the purpose of promoting commerce.

The Commonwealth de Troix-Sols is not the Ousters. For fuck's sake, they are French. While they enjoy a great deal of clout in the ERTC, they are as beholden to the Trade Commission as the lowliest Minor power in it's ranks.

Interesting observation as to Cabwi Desco: The posts which got him banned have much better grammar and spelling than his usual dreck. Or is it just me?

After reading a few of both sets, I stopped entirely, so I don't have enough of a sample set to say. And I'm not NEARLY enough of a masochist to go looking for more.
