Go with the standard clan disciplines. The Ventrue have a good discipline array and I see know reason why your character should not follow it.

Fortitude: Are you trying to hurt me? You're going to have to do a lot better than that if you want to inflict serious injury. And I'm sending you the bill for new clothes.
Presence: Be my friend or be my bitch. My choice.

Nice commentary, how about Auspex, Dementation, and Obfuscate as the next set that we see your opinion on?
Edit: Also can someone tell me if
this is the correct dementation, rather than a fan made revision?

Auspex: You would find hitting me easier if you would stop telegraphing your blows. And that dark sercret? It's not so secret.
Dementation: Being insane is such a liability. Here, let me demonstrate. Let's see, how about three Malkavians worth. Yes, that does about does it but its is so hard to have a conversation with a gibbering wreck.
Obfuscate: Stealth? Let me tell you about stealth. I'm the god damn Batman. Well, actually he wishes he was this good.

Animalism: you see stray cats, dogs, and rats are so common that they make excellent spies and distractions.
Dominate: these are not the droids you are looking for
Potance: I don't have to try harder to hurt you
Celerity: 1st edition: <insert Matrix refrence>, now: Chow yun fat bullet time

That looks right, but I don't have my book with me.

Sorry, the Animalism and Celerity ones are not my style YB.
The Potence could use a little work, but . . .
The Dominate is dead on.

Just a thing, but do we have an idea when we want this game to start?

Most people have gotten their character ideas to me by now. I'll do the opening posts on Friday night (Pacific Coast time) and anyone who isn't ready by then can join the game later. It's not like its crucial that everyone join play at the same time.

I assume there'll be a separate thread for the game itself? Also, I should have something written up tonight or tomorrow, one of the two.

Yes, there is a comment I read in Nitram's pdf of the main Rulebook that said a Ventrue would sometimes take a punch just so they could intimidate an oppenent. I got the image from "Justice League" of The Question trying to kill Lex Luthor.
Actually... Lex Luthor would be a great template for a Ventrue, if you think about it.
Anyway, since her background has her as a ghoul rewarded with the Embrace, I was going to use my bonus Disclipline for a point of Potence. I vaguely recall something about ghouls keeping their learned disclipines when they are Embraced, but I dont' want to take it too far.

Potence and Celerity aren't quite in character, but here's my descriptions of these.
Animalism: Bark bark meow arf squeek squeek roar
Potence: Strength...check? That implies there a possibility of failure.
Celerity: No, I'm not done yet. Give me a few more minutes, then it can be your turn.
And then there's the True Brujah Discipline...
Temporis: No no no! Do it again! But this time...with feeling!

Sorry folks, there is a couple days delay due to sudden massive modem death. C'est la vie.

Eh, it happens. This'll give some of the others a chance to tie up any loose ends with characters, anyway.

Okay, still a little buggy in the modem department, but that should be fixed in the next couple of days. So, I'll start us off slow. Feel free to start your character getting up at evening, assuming a blood pool in the "not topped off, but mostly full" vicinity.

Reminds me, modern Ventrue are pussies.

Medieval Ventrue would sometimes take a sword blow to intimidate an opponent.
