^ The editing of the scene is constructed to eliminate that possibility. The Raider's eye stops moving. Cut to Sam, his eyes are normal. Cut to the Raider's eye, still not moving. Cut to Sam's eye. Cut to Raider eye, still not moving. Cut to Sam's eye. It starts normal, then we hear a soft beeping sound as his eye flashes red briefly, then goes back to normal. Then the Raider closes its eye and flies away.

We already know that Cylons have different nervous systems, and parts of their bodies have glowed before (well, spine anyway). It looks to me that something in Sam's eye responded to the Raider's signal and flashed back a recognition code.

(BTW, this was perhaps the most effective and creepy moment of the whole season so far to me. I think it was also intended to eliminate skepticism that the four revealed aren't "really" Cylons.)

It certainly cut down on my skepticism.

After that and with the four of them believing they are Cylons it'll be a pretty good twist if they end up not being Cylons.
