It is, and I'll be glad for the better search. Thanks.

You are not supposed to change the password after you receive your activation. You change your password, wait for your new-password activation E-mail to come, click on the new-password activation link, and then login with the new password. In that order.Ace Pace wrote:Having problems changing my pass.
I changed my pass yesterday, then it locked me out, got a new password later, activated it, changed pass to what I desired, and then 'password obselete' or something like that, get new password, repeat 3 times.
Now i'm with the database-givin pass, whats going on? ver has some similer troubles.
That is what I did, it after logining with the new pass, then changing the pass to my desired one, that it gave me that message, and its all cleared up now, thanks to Dalton.Darth Wong wrote: You are not supposed to change the password after you receive your activation. I'm thinking it's most likely a routing or DNS issue between the SDnet server and my computer. The Yosemite Bear wrote:Funy Ein is on IM with me gettign timed out constantly
I'm having no trouble at all....
I've seen that before; I've found that it's best to log out and then log back in.Psycho Smiley wrote:And again while trying to post that. It goes through, but takes forever, and then spits that at me.
Why is the board so intent on getting me to change my password before 7 years is up?Your password will expire in 2831 days, you may change it now or later. Make sure to change it before it actually expires - if you are too late, you may request a password reset later, using the provided link on the login screen
It's just your net connection. The PayPal image at the top of every page is on a PayPal page, so your web browser has to connect to PayPal's servers to get that one little image.Bugsby wrote:"Connecting to www.paypal.com"
This always shows up at the bottom of my browser, and the page takes two minutes to fully load. A bit obnoxious, and it doesn't dump me back onto the thread after I've posted. How can I fix this, and WHY IS SDNET CONNECTING ME TO PAYPAL? I dont even have a paypal account, but SDNET trying to patch me into a site where I can get my money taken from me is quite disturbing.
Maybe it's always done this but my net connection is a bit funky this last day or two. Maybe not. Cause for concern?
The problem is fixed. The thread is back where it belonged. Thanks. The Shadow wrote:http://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic.php?t=4569
This thread appeared in page 1 and I mistakenly posted in it. Later John told me about it.

Still like that. Been checking around; it seems other people can't see it either. What gives?Rogue 9 wrote:I only get one page on my post history link from my profile. As far as I can tell, the problem is just with my post history; I checked several other members' before posting this, and found their histories intact.
That error seems to crop up when a search returns too many hits. The other people who don't have this problem probably have fewer posts. It's a bug but I'm not sure what's causing it.Rogue 9 wrote:I only get one page on my post history link from my profile. It does only happen if the person has a lot of posts. The only I've been able to get around it is to simply add "&start=25" at the end of the url.Darth Wong wrote:That error seems to crop up when a search returns too many hits.
