OOC: The drop was anything but routine. We jumped form 300 ft into an eyeballed DZ, and it's anybodies guess how fast the ship was going. I wanted it to be doing about 160 to 200mph but I think we were going faster, remind me to clobber the pilot. I wanted to get close to the base and get out low so we wouldn't be spotted by sensors. We might have been better off HALOing farther out and taking our chances with sensors, but here we are.

Upon seeing 424(Tech)'s signal, 114(Lt) will pull his silenced slugthrower, use hand and arm signals to tell 661(Sniper) to ready his rifle, and signal 312(Sabot) to ready his silenced slugthrower. Whispering to 424(Tech) "Give me a direction and distance, and see if he has any friends."

529 crouched down into the bushes and propped his repeater up in the direction of the threat, ready to backup his squadmates, if worst came to worst. He made sure his finger was off the trigger to ensure no accidental discharge that might give away their position.

Goddamit, only a few minutes into insertion and already contacted...

"Boss, I'll pull the engine back. No point letting him get in the way."

114(Lt), 312(Sabot) and 661(Sniper) are all over the guy like scales on a dewback. 114(Lt) covers him close, 312(Sabot) comes up behind the intruder and disarms him and then takes him to the ground, and 661(Sniper) covers in case the guy tries something stupid and manages to evade 114 and 312. Once he is disarmed 312 will search him thourghly while 114 covers him. 114 will tell 661 to go back to security and asks 424(Tech) if the intruder sent a comm signal. 114 wil then proceed to interrogate the prisoner, starting with the five W's (who is he, what was he doing, where did he come from, when did he get here, why he is out here, how did he get here). The first smart aleck response gets him a pistol whip, the second one loses him a finger.

424 nods negatively. "No, he didn't have time to get a signal
out before we took him down, we're safe."

The gag is quickly removed from the prisoner's mouth, and 114
begins to interrogate him.

The prisoner spat a gob of phgelm onto 114's foot.

After the prisoner gets done screaming into the rag, "Are you going to cooperate, or do you want me to continue? Two head nods means you are ready to talk, anything else I take off two fingers!!!!"

Tears of pain running down his eyes, the prisoner nodded twice, as
he sobbed into the gag.

114 will signal to 312 that if the prisoner does anything else but talk, he gets cuffed upside his head. "Now, from the top" Who are You ?" "Why are you out here?" "Are there anymore with you?" "Did you come from the base?"

"Oh, and if you lie to me, I'll hit you with some truth drugs, and any lie you told me will equal a 10 centimeter strip of flesh being filleted from a part of your body."

With that, 114 slapped the prisoner hard. "Again, who are you? Why are you here? Is anyone else with you? Are you from the base?"

"My name's Tyler Olsve, I'm an independent spacer here to deliver
some cargo to the Rebels, they said I could go hunt here in the area
around the base, as long as I was back in a few days! I'm all alone
by myself! Please don't kill me! Please!"

"Well Mr. Olsve, you are going to be our guest for a while. Keep quiet, do what you are told, and you may just survive this." 114(Lt) will signal to 147(Medic) to come over and see if he can take care of Olsve's wound. "How much of the base have you seen? How many personnel are in the base? How big is your ship? What was your cargo?"

"All I've seen is the hangar and some of the exterior fortifications, they
don't let us spacers see much. But the amount of supplies they're having
me bring in each month indicate there's about a hundred, hundred fifty
people on the base; my ship is a YT-2400 light freighter, its docked in
the freighter hangar in the base. Please don't hurt me anymore!"

529 watched the interrogation for a moment, then shaked his head slowly and turned away. The man had fingered them as Imperials...and the LT had done nothing to dissuade him from this notion. He knew that no matter what this man said, or how much he cooperated, he would never leave this planet alive.

529 had a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach...sympathy? He quickly buried it and resumed his watch of the surrounding forest.
