God damn it, that's just what the eras are commonly called, they're not some fucking paragons of truth and justice...

The Xbox is just a 32bit processor.
It could be called the 'Accelerator Era', you know. But the bit thing is totally artificial as we know. But people don't learn! It's twice as good as an Nintendo 64. SEE?!?

Hey, if you want to use the logic of the previous bit generations, why not say that the Xbox is a 256-bit console by virtue of the 256-bit data pathways in the NV2x processor?

Let's call it a 68719476736-bit system because it has an 8 GB hard drive, and 1 Gigabyte (G / GB) = 2^30 bytes = 1,073,741,824 bytes = 8589934592 bits x 8 = 68719476736 bits.

Surely the old Xbox would be a '5000000+ block' system? :)

Clearly it is time to begin measuring consoles by their cubits! I declare the X-Box the winner!

Cubits are inefficient for something the size of an X-Box. I vote for kilometers.

How about "the Era of Funky Controllers"?

The Xbox is an 128-bit machine because it'll turn your TV into 128 small bits when it crashes. That was the joke back in the day anyway

Actually, wireless is a standout technology for this generation. So long as noone calls it the 'WiFi generation'. :)

We had wireless before, and the XBox 360 doesn't have WiFi standard.
