Oh, no you don't! *murders Faram* ;) :P

In any case, let me state my feelings about these results in plainer terms: FUCK!!!!

It's fucking unbelievable how every goddamn time we play Sweden, the Finns stop skating, stop using their speed and simply stand there doing nothing and giving ground. When you add the thrice-damned Swedish Gladstone Gander factor, sur-fucking-prise.

Congrats on a game well played for Sweden. Can't say I'm really pleased with Team Finland now.

What is it with that misshapen goblin of a violinist, Edvin Marton
Eh? Don't have a clue, nor do I know of his relation to Russia, Russian team, Plushenko or whosoever.

I think Finland played quite well, to be honest. Finland probably played the best hockey in the tournament, but Sweden has always been a very strong defensive team. Also we have players like the Sedin twins and Forsberg, who are capable of creating goal-chance situations on their own, like Forsberg in a certain match against Finland in Helsingfors a few years ago, benefitting the rest of the team offensively even if they don't score any goals of their own, like Forsberg in this tourney.

I for one was happy that Finland made it to the final and that we can at last have a hockey tourney where our two brother-nations can be on top, as it should be.

Yeah, FUCK!

Edi's right, they seemed to stop playing effectively as a team towards the end of the game. But, what can ya say? Sweden played tough, too. I was kinda hoping Finland would take it, though... there's probably more people in the GTA than all of Finland, it would've been cool for an underdog to go home with the gold. Oh well.

Y'awl'll rue the day you mocked Canadian hockey! *shakes fist*

Congratulations to Sweden on the gold, and Finland on the silver.

They will need a few years to get to 60ties-70ties superseries level, too
And before they do, we'll try to beat them to pulp continously.

I haven't been following the Olympic coverage as well as I should've, but it was still nice to know that during the work-day I could pop into the games room and check out what's going on. Oh, sure, I could go to one of the many websites dedicated to up-to-the-minute results and commentary, but I'd still rather see it on a TV. Felt like something was happening.

Usually on a Sunday, I won't be out of bed until noon. But, I knew I had to watch that gold medal game. Am I glad I did; fuckin' good game.

Overall, Canada's done well. I heard we were shooting for 25 medals; we wound up with 24.

Will Sweden's womens silver medal in women's ice hockey do any good?

What do you mean? I think that you need to be a little more articulate to get an actual intelligible response.
