You know, if this galactic peace works out, maybe we could have a good old fashion Shadow War; you know, to stir things up

This behind-the-back stuff vexinates me. I actually think we need a very blunt, in-your-face war. But I'm the one working exponential growth for all it's worth.

In your OOB, you already HAVE methods of countering technology. You've been doing such things since the beginning. I hope you don't take this as some sort of excuse to make an uber-anti tech field or something. Want to make a magic effect that is the equivilant of an EMP field or somesuch, fine, so long as it stays within the DS9 tech level.
An EMP equiv was what I had intended.

Hey, InnocentBystander, your transport has been allowed to approach an ORBITAL station, indicated by the Orbital part, meaning no atmosphere entry for you. Doing so would be unhealthy for your transport...

Some of us arent nearly so lucky, Thirdfain. Where, exactly, should I set up my tent in NYC without the risk of being arrested or mugged or something? :P
Wait, how many of us in this STGOD live in NYC?

Is vexinate even a word?

Oh, and yeah, I'm good and ready for some brutal face-to-face combat m'self...

No, it is a made up word, most likely a failed attempt to use the word "vex". Perhaps he is looking for the word “irritates”.

I'm just across the water, I have a grand view of it, but without all the people, noise, smells, and other baggage that goes with living in the city.

Ahh sorry, I thought it was more like a cloud city type deal.

No. It's a made up word to combine the words Vex and Irritate. I'm sure I've used it in this webboard before.

Straha: Is there some sort of limit to what sort of vehicle and/or military escort a representative can arrive in? And would it be appropriate to send the chief of state?

No limit, assuming you don't bring a fleet.

And yes, the entire idea of the Ball was for all the Chiefs of State to enjoy about four days of vacation at Monacoran expense (as well as work on buisness)

So that's a nix on it being the next stop of the Overseer's fleet's whirlwind tour of the Galaxy?

Okay. You'll be getting a visit from the NRS Sabre, then. (In case you haven't been paying attention to my naming conventions, large bladed weapon names go to battleships.)

Where you planning on conquering earth? No offense to you, but I wouldn't let an anyone's entire fleet into one of my systems unless they had a damn good reason for being there.

Conquer?

No, no... Never. No conquest plans. None at all.

Burn to the ground, kill all the survivors, and stripmine the remains, see, there you're talking my language.

Not a fleet. One ship. One very large ship. And I don't plan on conquering anything. I'm sending the President of the Republic outside our territory at a time when war is brewing like you've never seen it brew before. I'm not going to send a yacht, y'dig?

Edit: Ah, didn't look at the time stamp. I see...

The transport and its escort had arrived without incident, carrying the Baeloaren Ambassador and his aids. The ships now hung in space at the edge of the system for only a moment before transmitting a message.

Apparently I did. Sorry. By the by, you wouldn't just show up over Nashtar. The Republic's "geography" (for lack of a better word) is such that you would likely run through a star trying to jump straight into the cluster to the capital. You'd be at Pinnacle if trying for the easy (and most guarded) way in. I'll see to that immediately.

Updated my OOB with fighters. Just realized that I'd never finished detailing my fighters, and I'm running a carrier navy.

Edit: I think that's all of them.

What happened to the sticky thread that contained all of the STGOD links? It was damn useful, especially to get us to the OOBs...
