In orbit around Imperator numerous transports dirfted unseen through space, never firing their thrusters unless necessary to keep orbit. In each one was a crack company of marines, patiently waiting for any action that may come. These Marines had standing orders to boarded and capture any pirate or hostile ships that came through the system. At the same time on the ground garrison regiments were helping to keep the peace with the Roman legions, ensure security, and dissuade any attackers from getting antsy.

While on Earth in Monaco a seemingly innocent aliens house was stormed by Monacoran Special ops forces, taking back for peaceful interagation a lone alien whose species was known by very few.

HELL NO! The ITA is a trading organization not a military organization, much like the ITASF is designed for security of convoys, not for an organized campaign against other nations as this action would be. What this action would do is turn the ITA into a international military treaty, not just the trade treaty it should be.

If you try to pass this we will veto this vote, and raise as much opposition as we can against it.

If our Monacoran allies say as much, we will follow. There is wisdom in their words.

We have begun searching for the perpertrators of the recent attack against the NRE world of Imperator and the foodstuffs convoy. See below data and reasoning for our preliminary report.

The Unity- Reason for suspect is very high, given recent credibility problem. However they have done things which throw suspicion of themselves, and have been very willing to help us in our search. Liklehood of attack: 6%

ATJ: Reason for suspect is low due to their convoy under attack, however we do not know much about their technology, their idealogy, or basically anything else about them. Liklehood of attack: 4%

Asgard Empire: Might have tried to throw attention off of the recent Black Forest incident, however their fleet numbers and technology are not high enough to pull off such an attack, and they do not war due to recent reconstruction inside their newly gain teritory. Liklehood of attack: .5%

NBA alliance: Too damaged from recent war to attempt such an attack, though the Skavens have a technology similar to the one used in the interstellar drive. Liklehood of Attack: .3%

Floater Republic: Close allies of Romans, technology is too low, and fleet is too wide spread. Liklehood of Attack: .1%

Minmatar: Allies of Romans, strong believers in free trade, and strong believers in the ITA. Only possible reason for attack is to continue the expansion of the ITA with them in the lead. Liklehood of attack: .2%

The nations not included in this brief are either considered too close allies to even think of this, or not to have the technological aptitude to perform such an attack. The one exception is the NAU which was not put on the list due to their increasingly isolationist attitude, and their unwillingness to use their military in operations not in self-defense. More information will be released soon after more information has been gathered.

Those are just the prepared search parties, we have many more combat ships on high alert (basically my entire fleet is getting ready to kick some ass and production of new warships has skyrocketed)

Our stance is official support of the alliance without official membership. An "ally of the allies" so to speak. The reason behind this stance is that it allows us to aid the alliance members in bringing these criminals to justice with ships and manpower without compromising the impartiality of the ITA Chancellor.

Thanks to the ATJ we have gotten the data of a black box, and infact have gotten the black box. The data shows troll ships engaging and destroying a convoy of ships. However we have reasons to believe that the box was infact a plant, including, but not limited too, the fact that the troll ships fought too well for standard troll raids, and that the box itself was damaged with weapons that would of had to have a higher yield then the more advanced, or most advanced of troll ships. As such we have begun to search pirate groups, and other suspects, for cargo taken from these ships, and would like the ATJ and Conglomo Corp.(OOC: I hope I got that right) to forward ship manifests and navigation plans so that we may further investigate possible pirate involvement.
