2 weeks, yes. But those estimates are for full fleet movements with capital ships. Smaller ships go much faster. If Thirdfain sent a few fast-scouts, he could ascertain that nothing is there in under a week.

Note: I have been talking to shark bait, and he reminded me of that clause, which was originally embassy space.

It is the ONLY habitable world as far as terrestrials are concerned, and even it has 1.4 earth grav. Though the temp is nice, few large predators, and no turgle fish(think Pitch Black, only with fish)
