Gix cleared his throat. "It is a princely gift you offer Nathan. I . . . .am deeply and humbly grateful."

"I do not believe... I am worthy... of such a gift. I am but the poorest tool in His hands..." Prius said, his eyes on the floor again.

"No trouble we are comrades in arms and you did return my bag to me. Let me guess we should do a full accounting of whats IN my travel bag?"

"If there are other such artefacts of your time, yes," Prius said. "I cannot overstate the possible value of such items, Inquisitor."

"Indeed," said Gix. "Just the copy you have offered is a precious beyond worth. The original . . . ." Gix's voice trailed off. "Be careful Nathan. Do not underestimate the power of greed. Fortunes could be made with that pic. Vast fortunes. For some men the risk of killing an inquisitor would be well worth it."

Nathan opens the bg and sets the clothes on an empty cot.

" I have my origional oridination papers here.My badge from my old guard unit. Some battle tokens from the four marine chapters I served with.A few books..... mmm thats where that went ,a pic of Leman Russ....and the photo of the ceremony you gentlemen thought that picture qwas from. I`m the third from the left and well you know who is behind the podium....other than that theres only a few trinkets from various planets , local imperial currency which is most likely valueless. Antything else like my current ID papers and such are on my person"

Pater reached his hand out to the Photo, not touching it, and whispered, "Whatever I have done for Him is nothing compared to what He has done for me."

It's almost unbearable to think that he has stood near this man, and not known that he carried such incredible wealth on his person.

Nathan carefuully packs everything else away leaving the photos and documents out.He hears Pater squeak and shake like a leaf as he looks at the signiatures on one paper.

Still looking at the floor, Prius nods. "A sign, perhaps, that He is watching us closely in our business here."

Gix nods. "A holy relic is one thing, a saint is another. Given the importance of what we have discovered on the planet below, I would hope that the Emperor guides our hands and helps us make the correct decision."

Nathan nods" Like I said guys I can gfet you copies of the images the papers well...I would like to keep the origionals and the origionals of the pictures but I would settle for copies if giving these over to whomever handles relics would be a smart idea"

"The Ecclesiarchy normally handles the disposition of sacred artefacts," Prius answers. "Excepting those of militant nature and the like, which are subject to various factions such as the Adeptus Mechanicus or the Astartes."

Gix spoke. "If the Ministorium takes them, there will be a political battle over who gets them and how they will be cared for. I suggest you use your own discretion Nathan. I for one would prefer that the image would be scanned by an auspex and stored in faber cogitators so that millions of copies could be sent throughout the Imperium, allowing all of its citizens gaze upon their Emperor when he walked among men and that highest ranking nobility could see what they should be."

Prius keeps his mouth shut on the issue. The sight of Him on Terra should be reserved for only His most worthy servants, and not handed about willy-nilly to any gutter scum to run grubby fingers over. But his is not the authority here.

"The inquistion has pict scanners and duplicators. I would be surprised if Pater's ship didn't have at least one."

Pater carefully put his copy on his bedside table and put his Aquila and Rosette infront of it, to make a miniature shrine.

"Yes, I have one."

"Well when you are better would you mind if I used it?"
