Good idea. That would be how the minor players in oposition to alexander make their profits. Alexander himself is making lots of money off the mineral wealth, including gems and such.

Shroomania can sell you Mi-24s (Hinds) that can serve as transports and emergency ambulances
All we have to do is to screw those rocketpods and cannons off. Just ask Nicolas Cage, Yuri Orlov.
Shroomania probably also has its own airplanes.
I guess we'll take Airbuses.
A340s
A300s
A320s
If they're okay. Are they okay, guys? How do they fare against Stas' own considerable commercial passenger air fleet?

The resources major resources for New Gottland is Iron Ore and Copper and the minor ones is Lead, Zinc, Indium and Aluminium. Of course this is relative as New Gottland is pitifully small.
The main exports of New Gottland is still biscuits and bad drag shows. Oh wait, it is only biscuits...

er....the Sultan has comlinked with President of Shinra...should I retcon it or count him in the conference, or adjust the timeframe?

Please Remember Hughes/Kaiser also makes a lot of Helos.
To be exact:
Apache (actually made by Hughes Aircraft)
Huey Bird (Also Made historically by Hughes)
Sea King
and other models
Also HK makes advanced Surface to Air, and Air to Air missiles
(historically true, before they were sold to Rayethon)

Very good.
The conference may be helpful but this entire situation depends on Saddam's cooperation. If he wont play nice, there isn't much we can do.

They are fine. "Red Airfleet" is actually not that active, it does have a dozen craft of each type but not much more. Most of bulk trade is made through sea bulkers, and the RT citizenry use trains to travel inland. They don't travel abroad a lot, so the plane park is not big - especially as other airlines also work in our airports, so you can choose.
Soon I'll have a sizeable fleet of hydrofoils, hovers and ekranoplanes, though, which might put a hold on "Red Airfleet" company expanding their aviation fleet.
Raj Ahten wrote:Main airplane will be an AN-22.
How many?
They would also like to purchase a few AN-114s or Il-76's, whichever is cheaper, for really heavy lifting. An-26's could be good for light use.
Okay, the Il-76MF is fine enough I guess, it's a main cargo liner of the SOviet army and that speaks for something.
For Helicopters, Mi-26's for running supplies into the mountains.
Sure. Once again, the number of units ordered - at least roughly. You know, if you just set it up, you can have a few dozen machines
overall. Especially if it's in Libertopia, and as you're a small nation.

Tsk... I thought King Paul and Ania were making progress too.
Goddamn it. I am a weak-minded softie! Stas, your wife
wounds me!
*sighs* If only eradicating Goddamn Saddamistani is that easy.
Perhaps to make Sky Marshall Ania less-pissed off, Secretary General Stas could personally phone Prime Minister Shroom and make him reconsider his decision regarding the Libertian nationhood and stuff?

ok, MASH refrence included, and yes, the hospitals are small and quaint by BR standards, but are HUGE as far as the Libertopians are concerned. and by training the locals as Nurses/Nurse Practicionares/Doctors the BR should make people happy with them, as well as provide the long term solution for some of the economically fucked country. Make people healthy and you can continue to find employment. Out of curiosity, we will be needing more anti-biotics and pain killers. (Shroom could you please supply them?)
also of secondary note: Bear Republic Concrete contains a very dark coloured Granite, as well as some volcanic ash, and obsidian glass finish in the final product. Hence most of our buildings in Minas Morgûl are actually black coloured. However, any road building to mining sites ect. will be made with Ingenous Rock, (Though we do export volcanic ash as a fertilizer)

Ania is
very ruthless. Actually, she's pretty ruthless and determined in real life, so I guess that's only natural
She will also soon become a Generalisse, assuming full command over the RT Military.
And no, I'm actually comfy with the way things are.

Ramsley is playing his game part in the Big Game, and tries actively to become a full Player; but if he outlives his usefulness, he might... well, suffer the consequences, so to say.
We are patient and so far I'd taken a course for the RT to wait, then act basing on what people say. Universal recognition would solve a lot of problems, and it would mean no more additional bans or bars, or such, to operating in Libertia, as well as the ability to wage war inside the Sultanate in which the Jihadis seem to be winning popular support whihc is bad.

oh, and the Hospitals in Ramsley's turf shouldn't have too much problems. The only problem I forsee is trying to hire future medical professionals in the Sultanate.

Bear in mind the only reason Canissia is willing to respect Libertopia as a series of patron protectorates is so we're not totally going against the rest of the MESS, which is (for the most part) willing to recognise them. But it is window dressing-- Canissia really wants nothing to do with them at all.
So really, since we have no interest in participating (except to offer some moral support for our allies), most of Canissia's rancor is devoted to just making a point about demonstrating public censure of the way the crisis was handled, and being better prepared to work together in any future inter-alliance efforts.
Privately, King Arik would favor just about anything that would destroy Saddamistan and Libertopia both. He is convinced that Libertopia ill drag the alliances into a war, which will "force" Saddamistan to intervene to "secure its own interests" in the region.

I'm afraid disclosing the full information about Operation Deadman would lead to, um... really, really bad PR for the Red Technocracy. You'll get the clues in time, don't worry.

Incorporate Republic of Tonkin; the power to the furthest-NE of the archipelago. We are a corporate republic primarily interested in the allmighty dollar and international trade.
Our corporations have major assets in Terra Libertia (Alexander's region) to secure resources and extra money.

About that airline, I'm thinking around 18 AN-22's, 6 Il-76MF's and around 12 Mi-26's. That shoud be about tenough to get started with. Flights are only in Alexander's territory to start with, other areas if the company can get agreements.
This is a private enterprise, and rich people who are not risk averse from all over the world are Investors.

Phongn, perhaps ProTec, Alexander, and your people should have sit down to coordinate their activities eh? you're giving Alexander Western style training, so Is ProTec. I coul see activists pain ting us all as cospiritors to keep down the populace and exploit the land. Especially since it was Tonkin who sold Indhopal weapons (It must be a conspiracy!)

Well, technically we are exploiting the land without any pesky environmental regulations ...

Give the IRT can write it's own environmental regulations I don't see how "pesky" they could be.
OAN Lonestar the Mark One Tokamak? Is that a weapon, part of your space program? A sandwich? A greeting between Texans?
OAN MK II, Who here has not listed resources? I want to do a writeup on locations in our world tonight.
OAN MK III, Coyote he would have serious issues making money via selling drugs, one he has only one port. Two Liberaltopia has little shipping to begin with, the only people with any ships left now is Lord Ramsley. Which means his sworn enemy would have to sell said drugs for him. He's got the land for it, but not the distrubtion network. What he does have is the IRT and the ability to sell mineral rights and raw materials to raise cash.
OAN MK IV, Seaskimmer, we are Q-created land, per the OP, our land has lots of useful things inside it, but due to size and the method of creation(Q-Handwavium, not two billion years of time) it's highly likley we only have a selection of minerals in the created land rather than everything under the sun.
Again Per the OP you do have something of everything, but not much of anything except as noted two things. To figure out how we get 2 Trillion dollar GDP's I'm trying to get a handle on trade.

It's...it's a fusion reactor used for experiments dude. They've been built since the the '60s.
FIRE is the MESSwide fusion project, which I've mentioned in my earliests posts...
