If that's the case, then where the hell is my witchblade?
If I keep up these freaky fringe-rolls, though, I'll end up rolling a natural hundred on a Perils of the Warp, eventually, and that'll just get messy.

Hope there's nothing flammable at the bottom of that staircase, Block.

Son, we're working for the Inquisition. If something bursts into flames due to our actions, the Emperor didn't like it.

I assume, from the events, that Scar's summarised that the way to the basement is a door behind the pulpit area (the flat surface, of course; more map incoming tomorrow) or perhaps Ajax gestured in the general direction (he knows precisely where the psychic agony is coming from; two degrees of success).
Also, WH, if you manage to work that quote into the game at an appropriate time, I shall reward you. That's pure win.

Upstairs. The bedroom doors are shut, of course, but you can guess this is probably normally some kind of bordello. The fellow being... ? ... is in the corner by the door of the toilet, and the two goons are a little way back from the windows, looking at him. There's a table, chairs, a few bottles, and such, scattered around. We're talking about a maximum of ten meters to the fellow in the chair, and maybe eight to his guards, who're standing in that 'frame' where the room narrows a little, dividing the middle part from the part with the windows, looking away.
These fuckers have epically bad perception rolls. Not hearing you lot yomping up the stairs...

Are the tables on the first floor bolted down or anything like that?

So help me, if you catch me in the scatter-pattern of that shotgun, I'm gonna...gonna...gonna go over and bleed on you. Yeah. Take that.

Sorry, my best melee weapon is a club.
I am not showing up to a gunfight with a club. And I'm sure as hell not letting Scar anywhere near me with that chainsword until I'm convinced he knows how to use one.

Nope. Quite the opposite; they can be moved inside, if it rains. And yes, there's probably avacados; though presumably not the same species as modern ones.

Poor Ajax. Horrible ear-ringing for hours from a fluffed grenade attack.
There's worse things...

Such as being on the stairwell when it went off and being splattered all over the walls. Or having to kiss your grandmother on her scratchy beard.

I'm seriously considering shooting myself in the foot just so that I can say I fired a shot in this game that didn't miss.
Or I could shoot Eli.

hey there Vac breath, just becuase my 1 hour every couple of days doesn't allow me to post here right when our dear, beloved necrontyr asks for actions, and I've stated several times, that in the absense of anything else from me, I'll just shoot the nearest non-ally thing to me, hey I have a 45+20 with that shotgun I should be able to hit something?

What? My good man, I am not insinuating anything about your absence. I am merely expressing my desire to shoot you, so that I may leave this mission with the knowledge that I had fired a shot that hit its mark.

The dice agree heartily with you. Indeed, you didn't just hit him. You butchered the poor sod.
And don't worry Zab, I'm sure the dice will favour you soon enough. Right now, they just keep coming up seventy and eighty... Of course, you could always spend a fate point to try and hit something.
