That shall be corrected immediately (You think I'm actually going to read all the books in a day?)
And we'll see that in my next IC post. Though I must warn you, going by War's appendix, in order to deal with the sollie govt you probably have to fill out schedule 13622, and should recieve your answer in six to eight weeks...
Anyway, Version Three...

System Defences:
Fixed Installations:‡
Warrior Battle Station: ?
Light Fort, between a BB and a DN in tonnage.
Starfort Fortress: ?
Heavy Fortress, Double an SD in tonnage (From OBS, the smallest Mantie forts were 16 megatons) with a greater weapons to mass ratio.
Heroic Storehouses: Numerous, especially on frontiers
While these fortresses mass more than a SD, their armament is only equivalant to a BC, instead they generate income by leasing space to trade cartels, as they provide relative safety from pirates, although not from a determined hostile government.
Systems will be allocated these depending on their importance, both politically and strategically. The solar system would have up to 50 forts and no storehouses (No rightminded brigand would raid it, it'd be like trying to raid early C19th London.) At least twenty of them would be orbiting Old Terra/Earth itself. Sigma Draconis would have a number around 20 Warriors and 6 Starforts, in addition to 5 Heroics.
Remote Laser Platforms: Hundreds of thousands throughout the league.
'Old-fashioned, bomb-pumped laser satellites.' Stored inactive and mostly aboard ships and fortresses.
Mobile Assets

[Notes]
*In order to protect the territory of the Solarian League from piracy, at any one time, a percentage of the fleet is engaged in anti piracy operations. These ships are effectively independant of the Active fleet, and form 'Standard Anti Piracy Taskforces' although in the event of war, many would be transferred to the Active Fleet structure, however doing so would cause economic problems. The number of vessels of each class required for this duty is indicated by a second number after the total of the class, the number is in parentheses like so {xx}
†I get the image of the mothballed ships grouped in deep space installations, much like the Culture's Pittance Ship Store in Excession.
